CSN FALL 2016
For the vaccine requirements... How did ya'll go about proving said vaccines? My mom has a chart from when I was a baby... or will blood work prove I've had all the required vaccines?

CSN FALL 2016
I've been freaking out about books too. They are basically more than tuition! Does anyone know if the books tend to change each semester or do they stay the same more of less, just change to different editions? I would love to get a head start this summer on reading..

CSN FALL 2016
Phone calls if we get in, letters if we don't. The toolbox class is NURS 90? Correct?

CSN FALL 2016
I was double checking the "approximate cost" sheet provided for the program and noticed it says $90/credit hour. First semester is 8 credits (not including general education requirements) so first semester tuition should only be around $720?!?! For some reason I was thinking just the 4 semesters after getting accepted into the program would cost the $6,480 they estimate? Does this make sense to anyone or am I confusing myself even more?!?

CSN FALL 2016
Have you found the online classes to be popular? I really love online classes and have always done well in them but when I was looking at enrolling it says there are only 20 seat available? Should I be planning on possibly not getting a seat in the online section?

CSN FALL 2016
Did anyone apply with Substitution Waivers?? I remember that during the limited entry orientation she said you MUST make sure the sub-waiver is signed by the Office of the Registrar. It was but it was missing a signature from the "Academic Officer." Part of me is assuming that the Office of the Registrar trumps everything and if it was processed and approved I will be fine but the other half of me is thinking that I'm not going to get in because of a signature. My sub-waiver was approved the day before the Fall 2016 deadline so I had no other choice but to turn it in and hope for the best. Anyone else have anything like this happen to them?!?

CSN RN Spring 2014
I'm just still confused because here in California, even with amazing grades, it's basically a lottery to be accepted. So assuming the point cut off was 37 out of 40 for that semester.. I would definitely be accepted into the program if I had applied with 38 points...?

CSN RN Spring 2014
I'm a Spring 2015 RN hopeful. I have a Bachelors degree from CSU, Chico and was wondering if any of you had a degree from another college and if you had any trouble with your general ed prerequs transferring... (MATH, HIST) I also have a Nutrition minor but my Human Physiology classes only transfer as lower division general ed so I'm told I will have to retake those classes... I know that BIOL 189 is a prerequ for BIOL 223 but does anyone know if those are more of suggestions or are they set in stone? There will also be a change in the point system starting FALL 2014 so if I go in with around 35pts out of the new 44 points possible am I going to stand any sort of a chance on getting in? Anything will help!! Thanks!

CSN Nursing Program
I was under the impression from the Spring 2015 acceptance sheet that 43 points was the max..? Is this new?

CSN Nursing Program
I am thinking about applying for the CSN Nursing Program in possibly Fall 2015 if all my prerequs transfer like I think they should. Has anyone taken any of the prenursing classes outside of Nevada? I also want to know what the latest point "cut off" is for people having a good chance of getting in. At a rough guess, by the time I'm done, I'd have somewhere between 30-35 points... is there even a chance of me getting in? I'm ultimately trying to get a Nutrition Degree if all else fails and 90% of the Nursing Prerequs are required for my Nutrition Degree anyways...
