University of West Florida FNP summer 2020
Hi, nice to see someone else and join the wait with me. Where you getting your BSN? I got my BSN at WGU and I’m worried automatic “3.0” passing is gonna affect me. Plus I had one classed which I didn’t start or complete in the term so it showed on transcript as not passed. But passed next term. Oh well. Fingers crossed for both of us.

Who’s all applied for UWF FNP for May 2020. I applied last fall but because of transcript issues, I didn’t meet deadline on time. This application has been submitted since October. So the wait has been long For me. I believe deadline is Feb 22 and two weeks from that they start accepting. So who’s all possibly joining me this cohort?

I don’t see many posts or threads about University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa) Capstone College of Nursing. They offer FNP or PMHNP or dual degree. I am applying for their FNP program Fall 2020. Anyone else also applying? Or anyone who has gone through their program, tell me about it. Thanks!

Who else is applying to part time FNP program in spring 2020 at Columbus State. I know I’m way early as we have to November 30 but it is never too early in my book I just finished my BSN and want to continue to my MSN. I need part time program so this why I’m applying in spring and hoping I get in.

Thinking of switching from pcu to med/surg
So I have been almost a nurse for a year at my current floor which is cardiac progressive care. I was also a cna there for a year prior. I am currently working night shift and I must leave because I want to switch a days position. Whats avaiable? Well of course, only a medical/surgical/ortho floor? I'm really considering it. Some of my co-workers think I'm nuts. But in reality some times our patients are critical and at times we have 5 pts. It can be overwhelming. So basically I am asking, would you switch? How is typical med/surg floor? How many pts do you have? I know ppl say med/surg is hard but is it harder than progressive care where you are on top of these pts because they are constantly changing in status. Im scared to mak the switch but I want to live a semi normal life. I get no sleep with a family. If you read all this you are awesome and tganjs for responding.

Anyone testing in June?
I'm taking mine June 22nd. I'm so nervous. I finished U-World question bank with an avg of 55%. I still haven't taken assessments. Going to wait till next week. Right now I'm currently doing LaCharity book and hearing Mark K audios. I also heard some Hurst videos and trying to finish VATI practice tests.
