  1. Hello, I am thinking of applying to STU to their online FNP program, however have read some old reviews that are not great. I would love to hear some feedback from recent students/graduates. Thank you in advance!
  2. I see this post has been quiet for a while, but I am considering STU for my FNP and would love to hear some recent feedback . thank you in advance,
  3. I know this post is a few months old, but I am currently looking into online FNP programs and wanted to see which school you settled on and why. Thank you in advance!
  4. hi, congratulations on passing your exam!! i am about to start studying for my CCRN, i dont want to overwhelm myself with study materials and was wondering if there is a book that you would recommend me getting? I have been in the NICU for only a year, and was a new grad when i started, so i have a year to go until i can sit for the exam. but i wanted to start studying early so i dont feel pressured or rushed. any feedback or advice will be greatly appreciated , Thank you!!
  5. Hi! The accelerated program is definitely intense, they pack everything into 3 semesters, however it is totally doable! If you do plan on attending make sure you have enough time to dedicate to studying to stay on top of it all, it is definitely not the program where you can leave things off to the last minute. I hope this doesn't discourage you, but you do need to know what you are getting into. :)
  6. hey! I am currently researching schools for a neonatal DNP, and the Rush University program seems very attractive at the moment. was wondering if anyone on here has gone through it, or currently enrolled in it. would love to hear some feedback about the program and the curricula. thanks in advance
  7. This is such a awesome thread! I am prepping for my very first nursing interview and now because of the information I got from here I feel like I am a bit more prepared! This question was giving me nightmares but I feel like I can now answer it confidently ! Thank you all !
  8. Thanks to everyone who made me get UWorld!!! Just passed my nclex with 80 questions! And the only thing I used was uworld! Did aboit 1700 questions and had an end avrg of 57%
  9. Just to update! Took my nclex on Saturday and just now got the quick result , I passed!!!!! The only thing I used was UWorld, I did around 1700 questions and had an ending avrg of 57%. I passed in 80 questions! Good luck to everyone about to take it!!
  10. how were your scores on uworld, if you dont mind sharing? some of them are pretty discouraging, and right now i have a total of 56%, after 1400 questions
  11. nice! Congrats!! I'm taking mine Saturday, fingers crossed it'll go well :)
  12. hope the test went well! how did it feel compared to UWorld,
  13. yes please!!! and good luck tomorrow!
  14. hey, this seems like the perfect thread to ask this on, i have been doing UWorld and score anywhere from 50s- high 60s. most of the time above the avrg. have already done 1100 questions and my overall % is 57 (73d rank not sure what that means) . i am testing in a few days and was wondering if those stats seem ok or should i be worried? i have been taking notes on rationales and do review them periodically.
  15. hey! how was your exam? i hope you did great! did UWorld help you? sorry for being so nosy =)
  16. i have been told that as long as you are above the average you are fine. i am scoring around the same as you, in the range of high 50s to 60s.
  17. i finally got UWorld and did the first set of 20 questions. scored 60% . it says avrg is 52%, so I'm guessing i did ok. what were your %s?
  18. yeah lol, I wish I didn't have to do all that because this time restriction is a pain. Keep us posted on your exam! Good luck !!!
  19. I am from florida, and applying to NICUs but to be able to get into the ICUs the hospitals here want you to do a training program (some call it internship)
  20. i just graduated, and the internships i am applying for want the licensure by like june 10th or so. or I'm assuming at least to be registered around that date. =(
  21. thank you!!! i unfortunately do not have as much time to study but i do have roughly a month, i will definitely get UWorld and I already have the Lacharity book, (we actually had to use it for our leadership class in school)
  22. was UWorld the only study tool you used? i am trying to figure out if that will be enough or if i need to used something else as well
  23. wow a unanimous vote for UWORLD, thats awesome! I guess i have my answer as to which to use. did anyone of you , or maybe someone you know, actually use NCSBN learning extension? the two are pretty similar in price but having a hard time finding comparisons between the two .
  24. thanks for all the feedback! has anyone compared the two or is it just from personal using UWorld? and how long ago did you guys take the NCLEX if you don't mind me asking
