  1. Nope it's a resp, or rest .... Something class
  2. I'm taking med term which is a three hour credit here , I figured I needed brushing up on my medterm anyways. It's completely online.
  3. Maybe you're more of an auditory learner. Why not try adding audio recordings more often. It seems that you are covering most of the visual learner domain, and some of the auditory .... While reading the passages, record it, and play them back while driving or exercising.
  4. I would look at your score report and see what sections you struggled in, take those practice tests again. I used this practice book, which is really cheap, and was able to read the answer explanations to help me understand the content. 3 TEAS Practice Tests by Exam Review Press: Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) Version V
  5. Just one I believe. I'm pretty sure financial aid won't be an issue. The last day to complete the fafsa for 13/14 is June 30 I believe ... Although I'm in the same boat as you. What other class are you going to take? I'll only have loans available to me so I'll have to take at least 6 hours to get the aid.
  6. Child and family development with An emphasis in child life. All of my core classes counted towards my degree in chfd because chfd and nursing are in the same college typically, health and human services. Google child life :)
  7. What about good ole' fashion soap and water?
  8. This has child life specialist written all over it!!
  9. I can not speak about the hospitals there; however, my sister and brother live there. Their cost of living is very similar to mine even though I'm in GA. IMO, our cost of living is relatively low compared to other areas. Homefair.com is a great site that tells you about a city before you move there. It can give you crime rates, school reviews, and cost of living. On the site it allows you to compare your current salary to what you would need to make to sustain the same comfort of living in the new city. The site is overcrowded with ads nowadays but the information is great!
  10. Just hearing the two names I believe John Hopkins is the more prestigious school but like the pp said I'd make a pro and con list.
  11. Well it's been confirmed that I didn't make it in. She said I was not eligible so I'm assuming they only looked at my undergrad gpa. All is well in the world, I'll just be taking my time in the traditional program :) If either of you ladies have any questions about Savannah feel free to ask :) and hopefully we will still see each other around
  12. Kristy, the lady that did the emailing, made it seem as if the standards were set really high by all of the applicants for the accelerated. The accelerated is three semesters, fall spring and summer. The traditional is four semesters but they do not go during the summer
  13. I do not. My grad degree is from Armstrong. I've been a secondary teacher for three years so it's been a minute since I've been in school :)
  14. Are you already in Savannah?
  15. I haven't gotten the official "no" but the lady was acting funny yesterday so I got the feeling that I was not accepted.
  16. Ahhhh!! I'm so jealous of y'all! Congratulations!!
  17. Yay! Congratulations!! The lady said that they only accepted the top 20 so it was very intense!!
  18. Ag6297 I'm assuming you got in right?!!
  19. I went in to talk with the department and while the lady didn't say I didn't get in, I'm pretty sure I did not. She said that the emails should be done by tomorrow. At least I confirmed my acceptance in the traditional program :)
  20. The traditional program applicants that received letters, did they receive two letters? Were the accepted/rejected? Wait listed?!
  21. Ugh!! That makes me even more paranoid!! I guess Ill go turn in my wait list form and question if I was accepted/wait listed or not for either program.
  22. Sorry, you may apply but you won't get credit/points for any courses still in progress.
  23. My undergrad is from Southern and those courses transfer just fine :)
  24. I applied to the traditional and accelerated. I received two emails, one stating that I was wait listed and one saying I was accepted. Problem is, I have no idea which program is which! But now I'm freaking out wondering if they made a mistake with sending me the acceptance email... I'm such a pessimistic person :)
