For those applicants out there that took Chemistry at Santa Monica College we only have to take one chemistry course (10,11,or12) right? I'm just making sure I wouldn't need to take another chemistry course this summer with Epi. Thanks!

For those that are going to the orientation on the 18th where and what time is it? I'm in the fall cohort but may need to switch to the summer orientation. I was approved to switch but I haven't got an email with the details yet. PM me if you feel more comfortable that way please! :))

I got accepted!!!! I originally thought I'd decline UCLA but I also didn't expect getting in either! So crazy! Now I need to take Epi! Still not sure what to do.... Do you guys know if you can practice nursing after taking the NCLEX and how far into the program that time is? Congrats everyone that got in!!

I was offered a seat on the wait list as well but declining the offer after talking with my family and deciding to accept CSUN's ABSN. I'm going to be a nurse...eeeekkk!!! So hopefully that pushes others up!! Good luck! Side note: I haven't decided if I want to remain an RN, go the NP route, or become a midwife. So getting my BSN quickly and then deciding later is my plan. I love that nursing gives so many options!!

CSULA just had their first round of calls for ELMN today so some of the applicants may have been accepted in that program and will drop this one. Keep up the faith! :)

Never mind :) The Department of Nursing already responded (super fast!) that they will send us guidance on how they want it completed after April 1st.

I ran the background check today and it mentions all paperwork is due 4/15 (fire card, professional liability, HIPAA certification, and blood borne pathogens). One person was able to find the fall cohort Facebook group so hopefully it's searchable now. :) I know a lot of you guys are still waiting to hear from other schools. I applied to CSULA and UCLA also but CSUN is my top pick for this time in my life. Hopefully they send out their acceptance letters so you guys will know soon!! I will see everyone else on April 18th!

Strange. I have it as a closed group (not private). I'll open it for a few days to see if it's easier to find. Maybe try searching CSUN ABSN and then search for cohort 15. And yes I'd love to get together!!

Okay so I was able to create a closed Facebook group for the fall cohort! Just search for "CSUN ABSN Fall Cohort 15" Yayyyy! I can't wait to meet you all!!

For all those that are planning to accept for Fall Cohort 15, I was thinking of starting a closed Facebook page for us to get to know eachother before the semester starts. It won't let me start a page without one member to add. Can someone PM me their email? so excited!!
