Hi everyone! I have to take an ATI exit exam in about 35 days, I must achieve a 70% to graduate... I am wondering if anyone else has taken this test, how they scored and any tips would be wonderful! thanks!

there is a lab manual included in the lab kit. be sure and read all the directions for the labs before you start them..that tripped me up a couple of times. We did 5 lab reports you can pm me about those. I felt like there was plenty of time to do the tests, 2 hours on the big tests. good postings as well. If you can try to get Aarthi Ramesh for your teacher she was the best. Because of a misunderstanding I started almost 4 weeks late and I was still able to finish a week early and pull a B. anything else let me know! Good luck! Jen

Hi Marci, I just took Micro last semester at CCConline and it is a great class. definately doable online. I don't have the syllabus anymore so I can't help you there but I would tell you that I am not that strong in the sciences and I got a B in the class! any other questions please let me know! Jenn

Hi, I am a student at Deaconess and have a list of all the contracts they have in place for all States. please email me off board and I can send it to you to see if it will help you. I also have some tips for finding clinical sites that may help. Communication definitely is NOT one of Deaconess' strong points but that can be overcome as well if you are persistant and determined, not easily frustrated. Jenn

I can only say about this semester (although I have heard that it is the same for all) we must go down for skills validation, which this semester means one day for 3 hrs. maybe someone further along can tell you how much more for the other semesters, but like I said I don;t think it is more than one time a semester.

I got my associates in Tech-geek stuff...I have been a tech geek for 7 yrs and am now finishing my first semester of nursing school..I just love it! it is challenging for sure but I can't imagine anything else right now in my life. I too look forward to the title of RN, several in my family are LPN/LVN but none yet have made RN I hope to be the first! Good luck to us all! It seems a nice bunch of RN's are on the horizon! :)

Hi Diane, I have one I got from my school that was made by students there are a few small errors in procedure in it but they are not hard to miss...Let me know if you would like a copy..it has helped me quite a bit in learning the basic skills. Jen

They (NCP's) are really not too bad..it would just be nice if we could cover it a little instead of flying blind... communication seems a bit sketchy with the school, teachers etc... I am definitely going to check with susan though and maybe get a reprieve...although I need to practice skills so maybe just get it done and be done with it...

Susan Isenberg is my teacher...we didn't get the delay though, which would have been nice since the huge comprehensive test is at the end of the week! Do you know if Tracy plans on covering it or is she just having you get a book and go to websites?

still doing my care plans...they are coming along slowly..we didn't really cover it at all. who is your teacher? how did you get the dates postponed? how lucky for you!

I used some online student nursing journals also the book "hearing the call to nursing" don't know if that helps much...I can look up the journals if you like and send links... how are the NCP's going? did you get those done yet?

are you taking NR 163 & NR160? :stone they are very ummm challenging tons of work, not alot of time during summer semester. don't fall behind! that is my best advice..it is way to hard to try to keep up. if you need anything let me know and I will try to help you. Jen
