  1. What are the minimum clinical hours for the BRN?
  2. you'll be fineish, get some healthcare experience and you'll definitely be fine oh and aim for 90%+ on your teas look at Samuel Merritt ABSN/ELMSN....
  3. Stats for those who got accepted please
  4. Would people that got accepted please post your stats?
  5. Ace the science classes, get some healthcare experience (paid or volunteer), enroll in any extra medical related classes if you have extra time, make good relationships for letters of rec and you'll be fine your bachelors gpa is definitely not low, mine was way lower and I was fine. Keep in mind I had a 4.0 GPA for nursing prereqs and previous healthcare experience
  6. Mine starts with L, haven't received anything yet. Did everyone who received theirs have an interview date of 7/14? They're probably sending out batches of emails based on interview dates unless there's only one day of interviews
  7. I'd imagine you can take it at any accredited college in CA since ABSN programs don't have microbiology in their nursing curriculum but require it as a prerequisite. This prerequisite can be fulfilled by taking microbiology at any accredited college in CA (community colleges, state schools, UC's, etc) I'd email them to get a confirmation in writing before enrolling in any courses.
  8. Is the new building for nursing located on the same campus as undergrad? I heard it was going to be located offsite at another building
  9. Do they split the cohort for August into 2? 65-70 seems awfully high unless there's a high drop out rate
  10. How long was it?
  11. What was the interview like? One on one or group? Was there a tour before or after the interview? I got invited to interview in May and I'm deciding since I have to fly in
  12. I pmed you! I have a few questions about the program if you don't mind answering them. I'm supposed to be invited to the next interview for the traditional BSN program and I'm deciding if I want to attend since I have to fly in
  13. Are you in the traditional or absn program?
  14. Anyone here take the traditional BSN program? Per Tex201's suggestion I took a look at the student handbook and I have a question based on what I found.
  15. Thanks for the input LaineyLe, How many retakes were you allowed?
  16. Which program did you apply for? Did you interview in April? I submitted my application for the traditional BSN program but missed the April interview deadline since I'm located out of state and could not make it. Apparently there's another interview in May which I'm waiting to hear back on.
  17. I saw something similar and I couldn't believe it since my calculations made it out to about $60k for the four semesters. That's quite expensive in my opinion for a 4 semester program. By comparison, I'm located in the bay area and there's a great school with a 12 month absn program for $60-70k. I tried calling but haven't gotten a response yet.
  18. Do you know the estimated tuition cost?
  19. Is the program really two years? I just found out about this program and supposedly the deadline is May 31 for the fall semester. I'm not sure if that means May 31 of the year prior to the fall semester you wish you start or May 31 of the fall semester of the year you wish to start I'll be calling tomorrow and hopefully I'll get some answers
  20. Has applications closed or have all the slots been filled? Just found this program and the deadline is May 30th, 2014. I'll be giving them a call tomorrow to hopefully get some answers
  21. Bumping this thread since I'm looking to apply to Roseman. Any students in or graduates from the BSN program? If so, please pm me feedback or post about your experiences. From what I've researched it seems the most significant difference between the ABSN/BSN program is length/teaching styles (14-15 months vs 18, (online/hybrid vs all classroom).
  22. Can any graduates/recent students comment on the program? I'm deciding on applying by the end of this month. Any and all feedback whether positive or negative would be welcome. Thanks
  23. Is there an interview involved? Or is it solely based on statement of intent, GPA, and letters of recommendation? Is there a point ranking system like other schools?
