  1. I understand, I work myself and I can it was difficult for me to study and find the time to get everything done. A few o my classmates started off with jobs from block one and ended up quitting or cutting hrs, few are still working full time but if your determined enough you will get it done. But I can tell you that most that are doing he CEP don't have jobs and the ones that are only doing their ADN's are working, so I would give that a try before trying to the CEP. That's just my opinion.
  2. i just finished block 2 and its a bit difficult to balance out your time with school and work if you don't plan on cutting or quitting your job. Just to let you know if your wanting to choose NAU as your CEP school they also allow you to apply after you finish block 2 or 3 depending on what you liked to do. If your planning on going to ASU or UPX than youmay want to defer since they don't offer attending later in the program.
  3. I'm at MCC and they use it every semester, but they do use the HESI only for the exit exam at the end of each semester.
  4. As long as you start gathering your supplies and uniform and everything else you can a head of time it won't be as bad...the books you'll have to save for and you have what they call ATI fee which have to be paid each semester that's roughly $250, books are dependjng where you get it from anywhere from 400-600 and supplies deprding on what you like 200. If you don't know how to do manual Blood pressures I would recommend you invest in a BP cuff if anything to practice.
  5. I got placed for the fall traditional at MCC to, my first choice. I really don't remember my timestamp but it was from 6/2012 at 8:01 from what I remember.
  6. You have to sign up at this website https://evolve.elsevier.com/ , create an account and pay for your test in the HESI section of the Evolve website. The test also starts at 9am and will have until 2pm to complete the test.
  7. I don't remember anything about an interview being mentioned either.
  8. Im doing mine at Mesa CC
  9. Where are you taking you bio 202 at this summer?
  10. Has any ever heard of anyone not being accepted and what is the minimum GPA anyone has got in with and does the HESI weigh in on the selection process since there is no "minimum" score required?
  11. I was wondering, if the schedule is due able with a part-time job or does it just depend on the amount of effort you put forth for the schedule that is provided. I'm planning on applying to this location SCH.
  12. I haven't seen anyone for Tucson, I'm trying to see if anyone else is trying for Scottsdale location.
  13. Do we call the school for that, I have not got mine yet and I was told by mid-april.
  14. They only schedule month by month...you'll need to wait until next month when the schedules are posted again if u want to wait until may
  15. Did she give any advice about the program, if so would you mind sharing some insight on what to be prepared for?
  16. I was told that as long as I'm signed up for my classes for the summer it should be fine to take and when we turn in our application on the 15th of May that it just has to be listed as enrolled..I'm taking my nutrition class which is final class in June. I was just informed that I would have to get my final transcript into them before class starts in aug...unless the advisor are miss communicating to us
  17. I'm currently taking my soc 101 and will be doing my fon 241 and bio 202 this summer.
  18. I see that St Joes is a primary choice for most...does anyone know much about the scottsdale location?
  19. I will be taking mine on the 24th.
  20. Whitneywray the info packets don't say much except everything is due by May 15th and that we have to either be in the process of getting everything before classes start or have it done by than. I've only spoke to one person from GCU and that's what he had informed me of...other than I'm not sure.
  21. Desertlady, From my understanding that its basically a year round program with a week break in spring and summer and 2 weeks for fall. This was what I read on other threads. I don't like how everything isn't very clear on GCU website or during the information session that i attended. I finding more out on these thread which are very helpful.
  22. I've only been reading through all the threads on here with previous cohorts but nothing more.
  23. It never too early, I'm hoping to get into the Fall at Scottsdale and have yet to take the HESI-A2 but I have had the book for some time since the CC have been using them for a while. I also have a few classes to finish up before the deadline in May, I'm excited.
  24. I am looking into the Fall start, have two pre-req to do first. Im looking into Scottdale
