  1. My heart is beating so hard and my nails are almost gone. Yep.... You guessed right waiting on that letter.Waiting is almost done... I'm not sure if I'm ready to get that letter. At least with out it I know that I still have a chance. They said they're mailing out at the end of this week. So yesterday or today they're being mailed out. Meaning today or tmr. I'm getting the letter, which decides my fate. I'm so scared.
  2. Hesi A2 test. Kiamichi technology Center, it's a school in Oklahoma. That allows texas students to come up there.
  3. I'm also applying this year. How's the pax test? I'm waiting to hear from Kiamichi to see if I got into their program.
  4. It's a good thing that I don't have to take any science portions. Just math and reading.
  5. Call for an interview? Not a mailed letter? Mine a couple years ago was a mailed letter. Do you know when they're susposed to call or at least start interviews? I take my test April 14th, I'm so ready, I guess more anxious to get it over with. Thanks for the tip on fractions. What version of the test did you take?
  6. Those are awesome scores. I'm hope I do that well.
  7. What was your score? Mine was an 82.61 the first time I took it. I'm hoping to score higher this year.
  8. Hang in there! You got this!
  9. Texas, but I'm applying to North central texas college and Kiamichi in Antlers, ok.
  10. Thank goodness, I don't have to take those crazy science portions, just math and reading, personality and learning styles. That's great about your score. How was the math?
  11. I have my test April the 14th. I've been studying the 3rd edition study guide. However, has anyone used the remediation on the evolve website. Did it help you? I only have to take the math and reading. I've taken it once before under my maiden name a few years back. And it s version one, but since I'm married now, and under a different name, will be given that version again?
  12. When I first took it I got my scores in hour, so what it took me to drive home. Keep check, if nothing today call the school in the morning. I bet you did great! What school are you applying to?
  13. You tube - this guy helped me a lot and it starts at the very basics and works his way up. His name is the video math tutor. He has all kinds of math videos, even measurements.
  14. Math is also my weakness, but is it decimals, or ratios or measurement?
  15. What are you having the most trouble on the math and reading? Maybe I could help you, not does it help you but helps me too!
  16. Sounds like a good start, I'm also doing the remediation ,and 2nd and 3rd editions. Hope you do better, mood luck let me know how you do.
  17. I'm so sorry. I'm also studying those sections, I've taken it before so I know what to do and handle it. However, what I'm doing now this year on passing it , I made copies of the math and reading sections. I study and practice all week, then on Fridays taking one of the tests to see how I do and what areas to work more on. My test is on April 14th.
  18. I thought the book were made by the same people? Is it not? I have both too, and what I've done to prepare myself is I made four or six copies of the math and reading exams, and practice all week then take those with time limits to see if my score improves. I take my test April 14 th, my school is part time and only does math and reading sections. Good luck
  19. Thats what I've been doing, because I didn't want to get use to a calculator. The calculator I've been using is a four function calculator, not fancy. Any study tips for math?
  20. I didn't think about a blazer, but that might work. Or asking about how they feel in preparing students, that a great idea.
  21. I should say interview questions instead. What is a good question to ask the interview panel, I would assume that you have done your research on the school your applying to, so there shouldn't be any questions to ask about the program or school. So what do you ask? My next question is I know you dress professionally, but what is consider professionally? I've had an interview before and wore dress pants and a nice blouse and heels, but it didn't seem professional to me. I'm so nervous, and I don't have an interview date yet, but I know my school gives one to anyone that scores a 75% or higher on the hesi which only consists of math and reading.
  22. Shayray24, may I ask where you found the study guide you're talking about? I have the hesi a2 book from elsevier 3rd edition, but would like something else. I take my test April the 14th, I've taken it before however, it's been a few years, I remember it had a lot of fractions, and ratio and priory ions on it. But that's all I remember. My school only does math and reading. Do I use the calculator when studying or working them my hand then plug them in?
  23. Im studying for my hesi A2 and was wondering if i should practice my math with a calculator, since my school is allowing one? Or by hand
  24. I'm applying to the part time evening lpn program at kiamichi in antlers, Oklahoma.
