  1. I second what Amolucia said...I work in admissions and its all about the money at the end of the day. You did the right choice. Don't second guess yourself and always be sure and confident about your decisions.

    I couldn't agree more! I'm happy you found somewhere else to work...next time if someone approaches you like that...ask! If it catches them off guard, then take it as a assumptions on what LTC nurses do/don't do.

    I currently work as an admissions coordinator. I've been doing it for 2 years now with two different facilities under my belt. They will have you look over referrals for LTC/assisted living to see if they are clinically appropriate for the facility...

    same here too...the last two facilities I worked at, the CNA's did the vitals BUT when we had nursing students/new nurses on the floor, the charge nurse would have them do it.
