  1. We RNs who became NPs and still working in their units in the hospital where I work. I think it's more of policy to hire an NP to the position of RN. They see it that you are over- qualified for that position. EveP
  2. Yes, you can push ativan slowly. The policy where I work is you take VITALS first 15mins and 30 min after.

  4. It's sad that we have to look for preceptor by ourselves. Some of our are lucky to NPs/MDs who are ready to take up thee task. I think the school should have group of NPs/MDs that will be preceptor to their students. It's hard enough that we're in an online program practically doing everything ourselves, adding the stress of looking for a preceptor is very disheartening. I pray we all make it at the end of the day.

  7. I started in August and still nervous with each class. Chamberlain has good support system to help students. You wil? be fine. The most difficult part is the beginnin, just to start

  11. I applied for this fall session. I never receive any response and whenever I called, I was told no decision has been made yet. My account is still showing no decision. I applied for the adult gerontology program.
  12. I work in a Tele unit and our ratio is mostly 1:6, some times 1:7 when we are short staffed. It's scary but true. Sometime without PCTs.
  13. I am applying for class of 2020 and heard that the process is tedious. Please any information on how to about the admission process is very welcome. Thanks for all the help.
  14. I am boarded as Nurse 1, level II, step III as a new grad. I am happy that the wait is finally over!!!!
  15. Finally, I got my final offer today!! but I will have repeat my fingerprint before I get my start date. It was a hectic 6 months journey and happy it is finally over. As a new grad, I was boarded as Nurse 1, level II, step III and the pay is good too. Thank you all for the advice, help and encouragements.
