  1. New grad LPN, with no nursing experience making $18/hr in Northern Metro Area of Memphis, TN
  2. Hi everyone!! I just started my first nursing job ever this week in LTC/AC/Rehab facility. I'm so excited, yet extremely nervous! I passed my NCLEX in May, so everything is still pretty fresh in my brain. I'm just really anxious about the paperwork and documentation. The school I went to didn't focus a lot on documentation, so I'm extremely worried about it. What kind of routine do you have when you first come on for your shift?? I'm trying to get in the groove of things. If anyone has any helpful hints for this newbie, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
  3. My name appeared on the BON May 15th a little after 4:00pm. I have a license number!!! I passed!!!!!!!
  4. Congratulations!!!! I just took mine yesterday and I'm playing the waiting game lol
  5. I feel the same way! I'm not putting all my hope into the PVT just yet. I keep checking the BON, hopefully will find out by tomorrow. Praying for good results for you!!
  6. Hey everyone! I took my NCLEX-PN this morning and I tried the PVT a few minutes ago and I believe I got the good pop up. "Our records indicate that you recently scheduled this exam. At this time another registration cannot be made." Is this the good one????!!! I'm such a nervous wreck! I felt good going into the exam. I took my time and went slowly. It shut off at 85 questions. That's when I started freaking out! lol
  7. Love what you wrote and congratulations!! I am using Hurst Review as well. I actually did the live review at my school and now I am reviewing the videos. However, I took the RN review since Hurst doesn't have a live PN review yet and I went to school for LPN. I did take 2 PN Q-Review tests 86/125, 84/125 so I don't think that's too bad. I test May 14th, so wish me luck :) Congrats again!
  8. Thank you so much for posting this!! I'm the type of person who needs to know what to expect. This has helped ease a little bit of my anxiety. I test May 14th!
  9. Good luck!!! You're going to be a Nurse!!!! I take my PN May 14th, one week from today!!! Can't wait to hear your good news!!!! Praying for you!
  10. I actually have a question regarding salaries. I will be graduating in March 13' for my LPN. I'm moving to Horn Lake, MS (just outside Memphis, TN) afterwards. I'm trying to figure out what an entry level/ new graduate LPN salary or hourly pay would be. I'm from PA and the starting rate around here is 18-22/hr. I've googled a lot of different sites, but have pretty much come up empty handed. Does anyone know the LPN salary or have an idea? Thanks
