  1. Loriangel14, May I ask you a question? (my apologies for jumping in; this is another topic) I wonder if you could give your personal view of nursing (the big picture) these days for someone (me) who is a male LPN in NJ/USA, and dreams to move to Canada soon. I am just waiting to get my full 1st year experience (half way thru now). I have friends and family there, and love many things Canadian. Oh, by the way, althought I am in excellent shape -health wise- (I'm all the time told I look like mid forties) my age is 52, which besides my gender could be a hinder in some areas; please remember that. Thank you for reading this. Please feel free to disregard replying if you are short of time, I'd understand. Best regards, Arleq, LPN
  2. By the way.... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! May the new year bring us many good things.
  3. Hi. I am interested. Could you list some info, like duration and tuition costs etc., plus any related links. I am currently working part-time as LPN in a geriatric day care center, giving meds and taking vitals, plus a minor skin ulcer to treat. I am anxiously looking forward to get my RN. Thank you. Arleq

Fiona, I plan to eventually move to Canada. I just got my LPN in NJ. Any chance I might get a shot into the system? Or should I rather wait to obtain my RN, which might take another 12-18 mos? Thanks
  7. Please ignore my previous request. In this post I found all the info I was asking you. Thanks and good luck to you.
  8. What's your state, if I may ask? I am in NJ, and I doubt I may find those positions as LPN; though, thanks to your comment I'll start looking. Thank you.
