I can try to do two sessions (one during the day, one during the evening) so that everyone has a chance to join at least one of them. I have free time throughout this week so just let me know. No, Problem. From my understanding, people have tackled financial aid in a combination of ways. Some took out the full amount of aid each year, which I believe as around 80k per year (50K for tuition and the rest for living expenses), and some did not take out much d/t savings. It's quite simple to set up financial aid.

Hello, everyone. Congratulations on Getting in! I was actually clearing some of my emails and saw a notification asking for information on the program. Im a little late, but hey. I am part of the inaugural cohort and will be graduating this August! Been a long road but im glad to be here. I can answer any questions you may have. I can also send in a Google Meet link if you wanted to ask any questions. Interested in that, I can set a link up for 7pm EST tonight and anyone would be welcome to jump on and fire away.

As of currently, majority of our classes for the first semester are being taught by non NAP staff and feel like a check off for the DNP degree. That doesn’t mean they are easy, just tedious work. Physiology is a beast for sure so that class is receiving the bulk of our attention. For the interview, it may change but focus on EI as well as the types of medications you use in your ICU for certain patients and why you use them over others. Overall CCRN prep will help. They NAP staff are great. The transition into school wasn’t terrible but definitely an adjustment. Going from working in a hospital 12 hours a day to studying for 12 hours a day takes some time to adjust.

Yes I did get a call for acceptance! Still no word on accreditation quite yet. I have been checking the COA website like every day to see if there is an update but nothing quite yet.

I’m sure everything is fine. They did have a perfect visit so I’m sure it’s just taking a while for the accrediting body to push everything through. I did get an email as well but mine had some minor tweaks such as when the deposit is due, when in-person orientation is and to file for fasfa. As hard as it is to be patient, that’s what we must do. LOL. We got this!

I received an email from the director of the program stating that decisions are still being made and we should hear back within 1-2 weeks. So there is still hope you guys!

Hey DM019, I got accepted into the Spring 2014 weekend/evening program. I had 8 points on the scale and i was told that usually if you are between 6 & 7 them you are looking at the wait List. To lilibug78, i would like to know what your personal experiences have been like. Are the classes quite difficult?
