To Tazski12: You shouldn't be worried about all of the mess of lines, airways, drains, ventilators an exct:) cause eventually you laugh at yourself about how's all this doable. With the practice and motivation to get in common with a challengable field you'll succeed. And yes, you will need time to figure out what's the hell is going on in here, but there are allways two options - love it or throw it. I'm a lucky one who comes with the joy to the job cause every day is different, you learn a lot and there is never bored routine, but dynamic. Wish you a lot of luck :Melody:

But Suzanne, with the great exeprience and knowledge you have with helping to foreign nurses why don't you mention at leat one agency with good reputation that can hire to hospital of my choice and petition for GC? It's hardly beleive that throughout the years of nursing deficit there is no agency with prooven reputation. and actually we've no choice to start working in NY but to endorse to another state? Is it kinda a trap "great job for getting licensed in NY but you gotta nothing do with it"?

The NY BON received the approved CVS NY from CGFNS in the beginning of May and since that I keep calling them to know what's going on and they allways answer me call another 3-4 weeks coz my case hasn't even been reviewed yet. Is it ok they delay my case in such maneuver?

I haven't received any notice from NY about meeting all program requirements but I did pay to Pearson Vue and that's the reason I wanna things faster to be enable sit for NCLEX within 1 year since registrated with Pearsons.

I'm just frustrated about waiting times for getting ATT in NY state. It takes more than 4 months. Is it ok they say me about great amount of requests all over the world and my case hasn't been reviewed yet. Does someone know when will be the end of this mess? Thanks for all support this site gives.

I'm so frustrated from yesterday call to NY BON about ATT status. They received the approved file of CVS NY from CGFNS on 05/05/06 BUTthey havn't reviewed it yet!!! due to enormous amount of other requests! Two months of dead time! And they even don't estimate how much time will it take to have a look on it! What should I do in order to get things faster?

Could you please give me an official link to this fact? (validation for 365 days) As I wrote before CGFNS sent an approoved CVS for NY on 5, May. And I filled and sent the request "form 1" from their site in July 2005 (including all fees, of cause) Thank you. Natalie

Hello to everyone. My question could be seen kinda stupid but I'm unfamiliar with it. Who sends ATT : BON of state I applyed for lisensure or Pearson vue issues it to me after getting it from BON. I applyed to NY BON via CVS issued from CGFNS. Educational department of BON NY has received the approvement from CGFNS on 5, May. And since than I haven't got any sign of being eligible to sit for NCLEX. I'm not registered with Pearson vue because they want me to pay NCLEX fee during registration, and I've read from this forum about stupidity of this step - paying for NCLEX without getting ATT and sceduling the exam. Does someone know about timing from NY BON about issuing ATT considering I'm foreign nurse. Thanks in advance. Natalie.
