  1. Ooh, I wrote one nasty letter to ABC. I asked for a public apology, and pointed out that no one at ABC would be alive if not for the care and expertise of nurses. :angryfire
  2. I suffer from PTSD and have a history of eating disorder and self injury. My hospital experience is actually what got me interested in nursing. What I've gone through has made me more compassionate and empathetic, as well as more understanding of mental illness. Nothing can stop us! We will follow our dreams, and we will SUCCEED! Smiles, Kristi
  3. I've not been in your situation, but do know that you have several buddies on this board rooting for you! Take care of yourself, and feel free to vent; sometimes that's all that's needed. Breathe, blow bubbles, take a hot bubble bath, get a pedicure, read a good book - do whatever it takes to restore your energy. Hugs to you! Smiles, Kristi
  4. Congrats, Kristen. It's always nice to have an idea of where you're going. --Kristi :)
  5. Not surprising, with this Administration... :angryfire
  6. Thanks for the reply. :) I already have been on all those webpages (NU's website has been my second home for the past few days!) but am looking for a ''non-institutional'' student's point of view. I'm also wary because I've heard of "hidden costs" such as uniforms, lab fees, etc. Any other responses/advice would be welcome!
  7. Hi, Does anyone know anything about National University? Cost, application process, waiting list, quality of program, etc? Thanks!
