I've got some co-workers that are in the program and love it so it got me excited about it. I've applied to UT Arlington (not the BSN program yet) and Sent all my transcripts. I'm waiting to hear if I was accepted to the college and what pre-req's I would need to complete. I have an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education and I'm currently an LVN. I just figured out that my overall GPA is 2.98 and for just my 4 sciences 2.75 which is the minimum requirement. :-/ Sooo my questions are basically, what else do they take into consideration for acceptance? Do I still have a good chance of being admitted since I'm already an LVN? Also, I'm in San Antonio so I'm wondering what hospitals they have here set up for clinicals and they are weekend only like I've been told? Thanks for any helpful advice!!

As someone who is just beginning an LVN program, I am looking for anything that will help. I'm sorry but posting such a lengthy post here to send people to your blog only to find you gave up on the blog in two months (8 posts total) wasn't helpful. I wish people were more willing to share their experiences in an LVN program so that others know what it's all about. It is much different from an RN program at most schools.

I've started one…I start my program January 6th, 2014. I've had a horrid time finding anyone just starting out and it's impossible to find someone from my program. Happy blogging!

No one is posting fro the BSHP LVN program since 2012. :-( Definitely interested in getting to know my classmates for Spring 2014!! Where are all of you!? lol

Im in the same boat in my Microbiology class. Here's how I've learned to think about it: I paid to be here just as much as they have. If study groups turn out to be you helping all of them and no one to answer your questions, then you've just wasted X amount of hours not helping yourself. Your grade MUST come first...if they need that much extra help, they need to go out on their own and hire a tutor. :-) Hope that helps...

Is anyone doing the Spring LVN program?? My people don't seem to be on here! lol I start January 6th, and I'm super excited!!

I attend SAC now with Microbiology...I HATE it. AVOID SAC at all costs!!! I got my acceptance email last week for Baptist Health and I'm ridiculously excited! :-)
