yes! u should def look into starting at a nursing home. i have seen alot of nurses work a year then move on to the hospital. alot of hospitals dont want to see a new grad esp without prior healthcare experience. and even though you wont use alot of skills in the nursing home you will gain a ton a leadership experience because u will be the charge nurse who oversees alot of different things and you will still have experience with ivs, wound care,trach pts etc esp if they place you on the rehab unit. so give it a try and after 6 mon-1 yr try the hospital jobs again....

its going to continue to say that until they look over why was it trouble for u with the palm scanning and probably what happened with the screen situation, once they are satisfied with there "investigation" and sees everything is what it seems they will release the hold until then u are in the "neutral" zone can't say whether u passed or failed, but with my experience i knew for a fact i got my last one right and it was an alternate type question so i felt good about it, and i got home and got the hold message because of palm scan(they had problems with there's) but after 3 LONG days they lifted my hold and i got the good pop up...good luck to u!!

My suggestion is go to the library! research your local libraries online they will have nclex books! so free info right there. i had Saunders green book just to look over content i was weak at it had great interventions and explanations didn't like the questions though so i did lippincott for questions and on my test i seen similar questions! (i was too happy) i also did the PN 3500 that the others are talking about and focused on the alternative questions the most. also looked over the study guide they have going around on this site. the more questions i did and the more rationales i read the more comfortable i was with the test, so do questions everyday even if u only end up doing 30 then go back and read content just to make everything is sticking!! I mailed in my app at the end of august, didn't have the money for Pearson til Sept 10 then got my number Oct 1. And took my test Oct 21. It can take 2-4 weeks depending. im in Ohio.

I took my nclex pn in the 21st and my results were on hold because of my palm vein scan. After going back and getting it done the next day and calling Pearson they finally took the hold off yesterday and i got the good pop up! also gave me a link for quick results but i refuse to pay another penny to them...good luck!

it took me 3 weeks to get my att number, but my friend got hers in 2...tips i have is know labs, priority, pt teaching on disorders. don't overstudy remember what u know is what u know and go with your gut! good luck

hi everyone, just took my nclex-pn today and my pop up was that my test results were on hold. im thinking its because there computer system was faulty and i could not get my fingerprints taken! my test cut off at 86 and i had about 10-15 sata, and one ordered response, no math and my test ended with an exhibit question asking about a questionAble doctors order. i could tell my test kept going up and down as far as easy to really hard but i don't know how i did. has anyone else had the "neutral" pop up if so how long did it take for results?

Taking my nclex-pn next month and would like to know where do u think u went wrong? did u cram? was the questions extremely difficult? Also what was your time span from graduation til u took it? And even though u didn't pass you can always regroup take a break and get a new strategy and maybe take a review class if u didnt, best of luck
