  1. I am looking for some ideas for a subject to write a position paper on. It has to be some sort of ethical/legal issue, and I would like to pick something that is kind of original. Any suggestions would be great!
  2. the issue is with the completely different pain tolerances of patients and when it is and isnt necessary to give them anything.
  3. I have to write a letter to a public official regarding an ethical dilemma. I have chosen pain management as my topic. I have a pretty good start but I wanted to get some of your opinions on the matter. For instance, I must include why there is a need for the official to act on the issue; a possible solution to the issue; the good AND the bad sides of the issue; etc. Thanks for your input!
  4. Is it worth your while to be a CNA while in nursing school? I would like to get certified but I cannot decide if the experience is worth the money. I just wanted to see if anyone in a similar situation had any input.
  5. I got a 100% percent on my micro lab!! woohoo! I havent found out about the exam yet, right now its pretty bad but there is supposed to be a curve...
  6. I took nutrition online and it was kind of hard because all we really had was the book to read and then one exam at the end. It is hard to study for something like that when you have no idea what the professor is like and what kind of things he likes to put emphasis on. I ended up with a B which is ridiculous because most who took the live lecture class got easy A's.
  7. at my school the advisors tell you that a 3.5 is competitive. but if you have over a 3.0 you have got a chance. i think that getting your CNA first or even your AS would make it easier for you to get in.
  8. i know what youre saying, i do not really like history either. i was lucky to have an interesting professor. if you are still in the first week of classes cant you switch to a different professor? that is why i would try to do, but if you cant, then stick it out, if you work hard enough you can make it through, trust me i have made it through many classes i never thought i could...specifically chemistry, and i got an A+ in it! so you just have to really want it and really work for it.
  9. i think you have a great chance of getting in with that GPA. mine is a 3.68 right now. hopefully it will be higher the end of this semester. i think you will meet a ton of people, i have already in just the prereq classes, but alot of my friends have already decided to change their major from nursing!!! so i am going to have to meet some new nursing students. maybe we will end up having some classes together! good luck, let us all know when you get accepted!!
  10. I am applying for USF college of nursing for the Fall 2006. Maybe i will see you there! Good luck:)
  11. i am taking micro in jan also! good luck to everyone
