  1. I forgot to update everyone, but I PASSED IN 75 QUESTIONS!!! I've been working on a med surg unit for 6 months now! Thank you all for the support!
  2. "Special delivery! She's crowning..."
  3. I am currently taking "HLT 362V Applied Statistics for healthcare professionals" and these assignments are killing me! Does anyone have their old assignments that they'd be willing to share with me to help me understand these questions? my email is [email protected] if willing... Thank you!
  4. You've got this!! You're going to pass! I've heard that UWORLD practice questions are a little harder than the actual NCLEX, so I think you'll be fine! :)
  5. Thank you! Sounds like you've got A LOT on your plate!! Thank you for the advice. I wish you good luck on the exam!! I bet you'll ace it because you did so well on the UWORLD assessment exam!
  6. Thank you! I have noticed I do better when I read the rationales after I submit my exams also. It's as though I psych myself out when I know that I'm getting questions wrong and I start to second guess my answers.
  7. Thank you í ½í¸Š I'm doing everything I can to not stress as much. I've managed to relax this week.
  8. I think I'm going to have to do the same. I can't wait to get this over with!! Lol
  9. Thank you! That does help! When you say you studied 4+ hours a day. Were you accomplishing a certain number of questions a day? Acid you read the rationales as soon as you answered the question or did you read the rationales after you finished all of the questions?
  10. That does help! Thank you, and congratulations!!
  11. I see a lot of people posting that they prepared for the NCLEX exam by doing a set amount of practice questions a day, but no one has really provided a timeline. I just graduated last week. I started UWORLD practice questions last week. I've been doing about 50-75 questions per day for about 5 days now. I didn't do so hot on my Exit HESI exam, but thankfully my average rounded up in the program so I still managed to pass. Now I'm dreading taking the NCLEX exam. I've never been a good test taker. I have always struggled in that area. I have very bad test anxiety. My question for everyone is, whenever you studied for the NCLEX, how many weeks/months did you study/practice questions? Did you take days off or did you go 7 days a week with no breaks? I've seen some people did 100 questions a day. That's great and all, but was it for a couple weeks? Or was it for a couple months? That seems like overkill. Just doing the 75 questions a day is a lot to me because it takes me quite a while to thoroughly read the rationales and get a good grasp on the material. Thank you!
  12. You said you did about 75 questions a day in he beginning and then began doing 150-200 pee day once the test started getting closer. How many weeks or months were you doing this regimen? Did you do it 7 days a week or did you give yourself rest days? That seems like overkill for my brain í ½í¸©
  13. Thank you so much! That actually made me feel a lot more at ease. My biggest downfall is test induced insomnia lol! If I have a major exam I have the worst time trying to sleep. I'll lay in bed for hours paranoid that I'll fail. I'm my own worst enemy.
  14. I will! Thank you :)
  15. Thank you. I am definitely putting forth the effort to study for this exam. Ive been doing 75 questions a day and I've been scoring above average on the UWORLD exams. Hopefully I do well.
  16. Hello! I just recently graduated from my Nursing ADN program. My school didn't have a certain score requirement for the Exit HESI final. They averaged our Exit HESI grade into our total overall grade. I am so unbelievably thankful for that because despite how much effort I put into studying, I couldn't sleep the night before due to Test anxiety and got a 69%!!! Thankfully my overall grade was high enough that I managed to still pass the program, but I felt absolutely defeated. I felt like an idiot because all of my other classmates were telling me they made A's and B's. I felt dumb. I still feel dumb. Instead of feeling happy that I completed the program and am graduating tomorrow, I feel terrible. I'm absolutely terrified of the NCLEX. I am so worried that I'm going to bomb it. I've been on edge and have been experiencing GI problems due to the immense amount of anxiety I've been having since the final. I'm worried I'm not going to pass the NCLEX. I paid for the HURST review, which I'm taking in a couple weeks, as well as UWORLD last night. I've done 125 questions so far on UWORLD. My initial UWORLD assessment said I was "HIGHLY LIKELY" to pass the NCLEX and placed me in the 60th percentile. That made me feel good for a total of 30 minutes, but then the worry struck back. I also had an interview for a hospital yesterday with an incredible salary and benefits. They offered me the job on the spot. You'd think I'd be ecstatic... I can't help but feel even more pressure to pass the NCLEX now that I have landed this job. I know I'm my worst critic, but I don't know what to do. I don't know how to get rid of this text anxiety and fear. I'm having mini panic attacks and my heart has been pounding 24/7. This is so frustrating. Does anyone have any advice? It's as if the NCLEX is my worst fear. I've never had test anxiety so bad in my life. Honestly, I can't even think of a time that I've experienced this kind of anxiety. I had so many stressful situations happen every semester of nursing school and didn't get this stressed out. This is ridiculous!! I need to master the art of acceptance and just be calm. PLEASE HELP
