  1. My heart goes out to you as I work on the same type of unit. It's a PCU and it is insane!! I was there 13 hours today, it's my second week off of orientation and I actually started to cry as I was giving report to the night shift nurse. Other than one PCA that is awful I am so thankful that everyone is so helpful and supportive, that makes it bearable and I love my patients! The only advice I have is pray, that's what I do:)
  2. Well, I waited till my youngest was in HS so I would have my RN by the time he graduated. I am 52 years young, passed NCLEX in 75 questions and a 3.75 GPA. I only went on 2 interviews and turned down one of them! I'm working in a PCU and I love it! My son graduates in June and leaves for the Army in July, I'm so thankful I didn't listen to the "I'm too old" voice in my head! Go for it, your never too old to follow your dreams :)
  3. Good luck on your journey, I'm sure you will do great! I passed NCLEX January 13,2014 and I have turned down a position and have 2 upcoming hospital interviews! I think COTC did a fine job!
  4. I went to COTC for both my LPN and LPN- RN, passed NCLEX first try with minimum questions on both . The school is what you make it so give it your all, do your best and you will be fine. There's always the good with the bad and something's are just annoying lol. The program Is fine with some great instructors also one of the least expensive options!
  5. I passed NCLEX RN, yesterday !! License posted this morning and I did get the good pop up!! I'm so relieved:)
