Lying to Dementia Patients
My view is, if every time they asked about their loved ones that have passed, we told them they were no longer living would be like the fresh trauma of loosing the loved one every single time.

Applying for FNP too soon?
Apply now, last time I waited to go back to school because of health reasons, it took almost seven years to go back. Life just kept happening and it's easy to procrastinate, so just apply now and every day you work you gain another day of experience.

Acceptance with not so hot gpa
- Acceptance with not so hot gpa
I think I've just been nervous because I have read too many stories of those being denied admission with good gpa's.- Acceptance with not so hot gpa
So my gpa at the moment is 3.4. Currently finishing RN-bsn, and getting a lot of b's. Will I even have a chance to be admitted to a np program? I'm hoping to finish with a 3.5 but if next semester is full of mistakes like this one I may fall short. I'm so mad for making a few huge assignment mistakes that's caused me to miss getting an A, by just a hair. I want to do a pmhnp program but want to be realistic about my chances of being accepted.- Calling In Sick: Dealing With Mental Illness At Work, Part 1
- Best Psych NP program
I'm also looking, finishing up my bsn next semester, in my area psych np programs are no where to be found.- I am appalled.
I actually teach Stna students in Ohio. Lol I've been appalled also at things I hear. I get a lot of nursing students in my class and one of the colleges told some of the students they had to become an lpn first then become an RN. The students at this school believed it, and were lpn students with no desire to be there. Not to mention its an unaccredited college so they were kind of stuck. They had believed the educators, and just happened to ask me my educational progression which did not include lpn school. It was heartbreaking to have to tell them that you do not need to be an Lpn first. I can't believe people can be so cruel.- vent about floating
I worked at a small hospital that if and when they would call and ask if I would come in, I would specify that I would work on my unit. I would usually also tell them a couple other units I would do but I would also tell them if they couldn't do that I couldn't come. Except I was nice about it, and they Were usually happy. - Acceptance with not so hot gpa
