  1. I just picked up a shift so I would quit checking my email. Tomorrow I decided I am going to clean my entire house.
  2. I'm hoping tomorrow. The wait is terrible. This week is moving so slow
  3. I'm not sure about my points it depends if they count my last class or not. I think 7 or 8. How about you?
  4. Email. Your application has to say complete. I was told we will know by the end of the week if we are in.
  5. I was told we would hear back mid April. I also got a letter that had very big bold words that said "THIS IS NOT AN ACCEPTANCE LETTER". It was informing me to have money for a physical and shots. I don't know if you guys are saving or how you plan to pay for things, but I do remember from LPN school that there are always a bunch of unplanned expenses.
  6. Patiently waiting for positive feedback. Good luck everyone. I'm trying to get into the bridge program.
  7. How long did it take you to get a response?
  8. If the day to schedule classes passes it won't matter because only people who are in the program can schedule for nursing classes. That could be a way to find out if you are in though. See if it lets you schedule a nursing class
  9. I got a nurse mate watch. It has military time
  10. We should just have May in our minds so we don't go crazy.
  11. Oops I meant cna not cans! My phone is auto editing
  12. The cans will now look to you for answers. You will have to deal more with families and doctors. You will be a great nurse because you understand the care needed to take care of someone. You may have to pass meds depending on where you work. You have to pay more attention to details because you will be taking drs orders. Make sure you get a good orientation before they throw you out by yourself. Good luck
  13. About 1 week to go. Good luck everyone!
  14. I think it depends on which program you are applying to. There's no way to predict how many people will choose another school. The good thing about St. Louis is there are a lot of options of places to go to school so hopefully others will pick another school so you can get in.
  15. I went on the school website like i was about to sign up for a class and looked up the classes we would be taking and what time they were offered. The only thing I didnt know was clinical time
  16. So I got am email from Swic and my heart dropped, but it only said that my LPN license expired. Now I dont know if I can get into the program because it takes IL forever to fix things.
  17. Can I ask what gpa you guys got in with?
  18. They are going by a little fast, but not fast enough. My maternity leave is ending and I go back to work soon so hopefully the time will go even faster.
  19. You have to have surgery? That happened to me. My face was huge! That was over 10 years ago though so hopefully they have a better way to remove them.
  20. This wait is killing me! Why do they make us wait so long? What is everyone doing to help the time go by?
  21. It depends on the program. I myself have come across this same issue so I found a new route. Research schools and do what is best for you.
  22. If you retake a few classes you can get your gpa up then apply to a program. That would be the fastest route and cheapest
  23. Thanks for the response! I agree. It is important not to waste money on school if you dont really have a passion for your degree.
