Hi all, I've been working as an LPN in LTC for a little over 2 years now. I recently finished school for my RN and am officially an RN now . I just got hired onto a busy surgical unit (or I guess it would be considered med-surg) and am wondering how I can make this transition as smooth as possible. I know acute care can be quite different from LTC, so any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I think that's only available for the RN version.

I used Saunders comprehensive review and UWORLD as my main study sources. I cannot recommend UWORLD enough. It's set up like the NCLEX and the rationales are really good. I also used lacharity PDA, which is also pretty helpful when it comes to prioritization. Good luck! :)

I think it still does. I took my mine a few weeks ago and got the good pop up and found out I passed a few days later. Good luck!

Hello all, This is my first post on this forum. I am (or was) a CNA with about two years of experience and recently graduated and passed the NCLEX-PN. I'm also am planning to continue on with my education and am enrolled in a BSN program in the fall. I was wondering how is it being an LPN compared to a CNA? I've been applying for jobs and am pretty nervous because i'm so used to/comfortable being a CNA. Any advice or insight would be great. Thanks!
