  1. it was only one experience. you're not going to get an amazing experience every clinical. some things will not be your forte'. but you've gotta do it. nursing home was DEFINITELY not for me.

    78% is considered failing at my school. I'm glad they do this, because I wouldn't want a nurse who didn't know her stuff to be taking care of me..they do scoring this way for a reason!

  7. Hey! I just started my LPN program 3 weeks ago, and we have been learning vital signs. I don't know if your school does this, but after we practice doing vital signs we do 'skill check offs' sort if like a test to see that we are competent in doing things. My skills check off for vital signs is on Monday, and I know how to do them. My question is, how do I go about the greeting the patient and all of that the 'right' way?! I don't know what to say! Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated! :)

  12. Hello! I just got my acceptance letter to LPN school! First off, I am extremely excited and have never felt so determined for anything in my life. But I am worried because I have a 3 year old daughter and a husband. He is exceptionally supportive, but what I want to know, is how you mothers handled nursing school with children? Tips on how to manage my time etc? Thank You in advance! :)
