If you have more time, you can try saunders, its a good book

you can't really base your knowledge on one exam, you should try it many more times and see where you really have difficulty on. i used saunders for most of my review, and my scores went up from 60s at the start of my review to 80s at the end of my review. its really a good book! goodluck!

i don't know since i didn't use the kaplan qbank :) most of them were one liners, not like some questions from other books which were very long questions. in terms of difficulty, you can't really say because the difficulty varies. some were very easy while some were very difficult. but it doesn't really matter. just be prepared and focus. :)

yup i already took mine about two weeks ago :) i used 3500 and it was extremely helpful coz you really can't just rely on one source for questions. i did about 300-400 questions a day the duration of my review. but during the last 3 days before my exam.. just did about 100 questions a day and just scanned on some review notes.. goodluck and you'll do great!

yes it is. it gives you a variety of questions. use it and use other books also. do alot of practice questions, it will make you prepared. goodluck

Have a consistent study schedule and try to alternate/rotate your study material so that you will be used to a variety of questions. and reviewing the rationales are very important. make sure your scores improve as you go on with your review. i hope i could help a bit. also make sure you don't get too nervous the next time around. i'm sure you'll make it next time! goodluck!

didnt enroll for any online review class. i mainly used saunders and exam cram and nclex 3500 and some lipincott and kaplan strategy books. i really learned alot reviewing what i didnt know and reading the rationales when i was answering questions. i graduated from the philippines. the exam wasnt as hard i was expecting. but also it wasnt as predictable as i expected. some questions were really weird. it really was a test that covers everything in nursing schoold. just focus guys. i believe its not about the review course that you have taken but it is more about how focused you are on your review. goodluck!

Hi guys! I recently applied at a new grad OR residency program. Unfortunately, I didn't pass. I've been searching around for other GN programs for the OR but I'm still waiting for a response. Do you have any suggestions that would improve my chances (certifications, etc.)? or should I get some experience in the floor first? Any suggestion would be of great help! thanks guys!

I think it was really alot but I just really tried to cover as many topics as I could.

Yup 300-400 questions a day.

Pharm was OK, just knowing the classifications of the drugs were and the common nursing interventions and side/adverse effects were enough to answer the questions. I had about 3-5 medications and 2 drug calculations. Saunders and Nclex 3500 have good SATA questions. I didn't get a ton of sata, just about 8-10. I think its a mix between critical thinking and had to know. Saunders helps in both of those situations. Goodluck! you can do it!

I used lipincott. For me it was not similar to the NCLEX questions. Saunders and Exam Cram were more similar in my experience. But for the sake of having a variety of questions I still answered it coz you never really know what will appear in the exam.

I did about 300-400 questions 6 days a week for 3 months, but that was because I got my ATT late. I was ready after the second month. I usually rotated the books. A 100 from saunders, 100 from 3500, 100 from lipincott, and a 100 for the exam cram. My scores were usually 75-80+%. This worked for me. I had about 8-10 SATA. The kaplan book that I studied was the strategies book, it was the first book I used then I answered the CD which contained 180 questions, then I went on to my other books. Hope this helps guys! Hi! I believe that Saunders helped me alot in terms of content. The questions were kind of similar to saunders. Most of the questions were one liners. I got the good pop up after 76 items. If this would be of help, I did self review, I did the Saunders 4th and 5th edition, kaplan book review, hurst book review, nclex 3500, nclex exam cram, lipincott. i believe that saunders really helped me alot as far as content and critical thinking. i hope i could help future exam takers. good luck!

I have been trying to contact the ohio BON these past few days but can't seem to get through. It always goes to voicemail. I'm trying to call the licensure department. Has anyone been able to reach them? If so, what number did you call and during what time? How many times did you have to call? Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated

What number did you call? is it the one that ends with 7675? I also keep on calling but I'm always transferred to voicemail.

From what I read, you cannot work with an H4 visa, the only way you will be able to work and get your license is through getting an h1b visa. I hope this helps.
