I know it is frustrating but don't give up!! We need new grads. You are the future of nursing. Here is a good article with some great resume tips that might help.

I absolutely love Dansko. My whole team swears by them and they have so many colorful options. I can actually wear some of mine outside of work so I feel like I get more use for the money.

If you are not required to get the kit, I would go for the Littman. You just can't go wrong with that investment and you can also get a decent blood pressure cuff for under $20.

I love the teal color. It doesn't show pen marks and I am partial to the blue-greens. I think Littman also has a nice bright orange if you want a color that really stands out.

I love my ultimate medical bag! It has tons of room and fits everything I need without a problem plus they are always coming out with new colors and patterns. This one is my favorite pattern so far...I was thinking of getting another to use as a travel bag.

It actually does fit on the Cardio III tubing!

Prestige Medical has a stethoscope watch as well. I found this one that I like. You can also get some really cute clip on watches as well if you don't like to wear one on your wrist.

I know alot of people that love Dansko. They are a little pricey but they last forever and many of the nurses I know swear by them. Advance is having a sale on them right now...they also have some other shoes including the Allegria that I saw mentioned here, but I don't know if they are on sale.

ADVANCE Heathcare Jobs a great job board for nurses and healthcare professionals in general. I know some companies do still hire new grads but they are definitely hard to find. I personally think hospitals need to realize how much we need new grads to build a future generation of healthcare professionals. Of course we we need the experience too so it's a difficult position for everyone. Hope you find something!
