    ADN to BSN?

Hey thank you! Thats the same situation where Im at with the nursing market going towards you needing your BSN. I might as well knock it out. More education wont hurt you. Plus, If I ever decide to go on and become an NP, ill only be that much more closer right? :)

    What's the BEST nursing shoes?

Hey if I was going to spend almost $200 on a pair of shoes I would do the same thing! Haha thats how it was for me when I got my Merrell running shoes for $115!

    What's the BEST nursing shoes?

Ive heard Danskos take some time to adjust to and they are expensive! I guess I will never know till I try! Its worth sinking some money into a good pair of reputable shoes. Thank you for the input everybody!

    ADN to BSN?

ADN done! Now on to BSN?? Im debating this as Ive heard there really is no difference beween ADN and BSN in nursing. Ive done my reserch and am starting to believe it may be true. The pay really isnt much different, at least here in Idaho, and really it only opens doors for more adminstrative and office positions. I would eventually like to serve a medical mission or participate in a Doctors Without Boarders program and I understand you need your BSN for that. I guess my question is is there any benefit to getting your BSN in nursing??
  7. 12 hour shifts! OMG!! All that walking, standing, and sometimes running! I've had Crocs, Regular tennis shoes, Merrell running shoes... the list goes on!!! But what is the BEST nursing shoes to have out there? I've heard nurses talk about "Dancecoes". They look so uncomfortable... Hmm... What are your thoughts?? Experiences??

To Study or not to Study?

I am very familiar with ATI! We also utalize that in the program. Many ppl dont like it, but I have found them to be helpful. Good advice! Thank you very much!

To Study or not to Study?

Thank you for your response! I have a good 4-5 months before im done with RN school so I have a while. I think I will just do what I did when I took my LPN boards. Ive had ppl tell me its best to just take it. I agree with what you said. You know what you know. Why confuse all the information you already have in your head right?

    12 Hour Shifts

Ive always wondered aout 12 hour shifts. Ive worked them before. Ill admit its nice to only have to work 3 out of the 7 days. Sometimes I feel its overwhelming. I would like to only have to do an 8hr. How do you feel about 12 hour shifts? I guess my real question is, what can I do to help me maintain more energy and pep for the full 12 hours?

To Study or not to Study?

Heres my question to you. With the NCLEX just around the corner, is it best to study or just go with what you already know? In reality its just another comprehensive exam with no new informantion. When I took my LPN NCLEX I just went in without having studied first. I passed and did just fine. What are your opinions?
