  1. Thank you! There is a facebook group for WGU MSN-Education and for the 900 classes there is WGU MSN-Ed 900. Those are really good resources to help get through the classes. Good luck with your classes.
  2. I just finished my masters in nursing education and I am so glad I have it completed. I attended WGU online program and it was great. I would highly recommend them. Now I need to find a job. ?
  3. Following. ... I'm starting the master's program in nursing education July 1st.
  4. Thank you for the article. Medication errors can happen at anytime whether your new nurse or experienced nurse. I just started traveling as a nurse and I had a charge nurse said to me that I asked too many question. I told her I'm going to be a safe nurse so if I don't know or if I'm not sure I ask questions. I would much rather somebody think I don't know that much then to make an error. Great article!

I would like more information. I just private message you Thanks!
  6. I am looking into WGU for their MSN education program. Once I finished the program i would like to teach online or at a facility/College. I'm currently an RN with a BSN working at a hospital. I do want to keep my options open and maybe look into later on the FNP program and transfer ...I'm not really sure yet. So my question is once you finish the MSN education program at WGU does that qualify you to be able to get a job in teaching? I'm very sorry to hear about your mom passing. I lost my mom at the end of March and it's still hard for me... it definitely rocked my world.
  7. I'm just talking to a couple different agencies right now for Florida.
  8. I'm starting to look for a travel nurse job in Florida. I'm looking for a community hospital in Med/Surg outside of Orlando or around Fort Walnut Beach. Any suggestions on area or hospitals? This will be my first travel job and I have 2 years experience. Any pointers will help or agency that are good. Thanks!
  9. Thank you, I will look at the website. Good luck on your exam. :)
  10. I'm currently in a medical surgical department for a year now and will start my dream job in L&D in 2 weeks. I wanted to buy a book to help me in my new position. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good L&D book? Thanks for your help!
  11. I wanted to update this post. I was offered the position in Labor and Delivery. I'm very excited and it is such a great opportunity.
  12. The interview went well. Here are some examplesof the questions asked. Give a time where you provided excellent service, give an example of conflict with another co-worker and how did you resolve it, give an example of something you felt was not correct or not helping the patient and what did you do to resolve It. I shadow next week.
  13. Thank you, this was helpful. I'll check into the "baby friendly" :)
  14. Hi, I have an interview tomorrow for Postpartum position. I wanted to see if I could get some help with interview questions or some tips.
