The Wrong Dose - A True Story of Medication Error
Thank you for the article. Medication errors can happen at anytime whether your new nurse or experienced nurse. I just started traveling as a nurse and I had a charge nurse said to me that I asked too many question. I told her I'm going to be a safe nurse so if I don't know or if I'm not sure I ask questions. I would much rather somebody think I don't know that much then to make an error. Great article!

MSN-Ed in 9.5 months!
I am looking into WGU for their MSN education program. Once I finished the program i would like to teach online or at a facility/College. I'm currently an RN with a BSN working at a hospital. I do want to keep my options open and maybe look into later on the FNP program and transfer ...I'm not really sure yet. So my question is once you finish the MSN education program at WGU does that qualify you to be able to get a job in teaching? I'm very sorry to hear about your mom passing. I lost my mom at the end of March and it's still hard for me... it definitely rocked my world.

This will be my first travel job and I have 2 years experience. Any pointers will help or agency that are good. Thanks!

Interviewing in Postpartum help
The interview went well. Here are some examplesof the questions asked. Give a time where you provided excellent service, give an example of conflict with another co-worker and how did you resolve it, give an example of something you felt was not correct or not helping the patient and what did you do to resolve It. I shadow next week.

Starting the Fall 2013 Term at Goldfarb School of Nursing
Hi!I got another emailing stating orientation is August 8th. I think august 9th was a typo. I've I'll ready started to find books that we need online. They are so expensive at their book store. I got the pathophyisilogy off of craigslist for 50. I heard it's a really hard class, so I'm just going to start reading it. I love this site you can find a lit of useful information. So it looks like we will see each at school. August

Nursing Orientation...
Yes, I think having your parents there will help them understand what you will need to do and the commitment you will need to put into the program. Let them see what they are paying for. :) Good Luck!

New to nursing and college itself. I have a question about pre reqs.
Good for you for getting your GED and going to school for nursing. What ever you do stay in school don't wait to finish. Since your just starting out it's going to take some time to get all the required classes done, but it will be well worth it. I would suggest always looking up the required class you will need at your school. Sometimes the counselors may mess things up, so it's always good just double check on your own. Study hard, and keep your school work organized with the classes you taken (the ones required for nursing, micro, A&P..etc). You'll want to use them as reference to go back and review if needed. Don't get discouraged if it takes a little longer than expected, you'll get through it. :) Good luck to you!

Starting the Fall 2013 Term at Goldfarb School of Nursing
I'm starting in the fall 2013 and wanted to see if there was anyone else starting then. I'll be in the upper division at Goldfarb BSN program. Orientation starts on August 8th and I'm excited to finally see what is going to happen. Someone had suggested to review my A & P classes that I've taken, which I think is a good idea. I thought I should also study medical terminology. I just wanted to see who is out there. I know I will try to get into a study group once school starts. Little over 2 months before school starts.... Any other suggestions? Tammy

Does anyone have any suggestions on buying the required books. I may have to purchase the books out of pocket and I'm trying to find the best and cheapest way to purchase them. I see that there are the traditional hard copy books to buy and ebooks. Is it ok to buy the ebooks or do I need to buy the hard copy books. I see that there are websites that rent the books also.
