Hi, Pinoynarz! Silverdragon is right. I came here on F1 visa(my family on f2 visa), then I did my OPT for 1 year,and during the OPT my hospital sponsored me. Good luck.

hi everybody! i just want to share with you,guys! august 2 i checked uscis site and got this message: i485 status. "current status: card production ordered. on august 2, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. if we need something from you we will contact you. if you move before you receive the card, call customer service. you can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. just follow the link below to register." i filed aos in july,2006 to nebraska cs i140 approved in may,2006 is it mean that i'm getting gc? i cannot believe that. thank you.

I'm checking uscis site every day,but there are no changes since I sent it: Current Status: Case received and pending. "On July 25, 2006, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location.... " Do you think I have any chance to get GC soon? Thank you again

My lawyer just sent another additional information to Nebraska center,I was waiting for 8 months (July 25,2006 )for I140 approval,but my attorney did mistake and now they want more information from him. So, how long do you think i'm going to wait more? I'm so sad. Thank you.

Hi,Suzanne,thank you so much for your answer. Yes,I graduated from US school and I'm here on EAD. While i was writing you,my attorney called me back and asked to come and see them . Additional information suppose to be from my hospital,so i need to get this letter from my attorney and bring it to the hospital. So, I'll let you know what's it about. Somebody adviced me my attorney, not empoyer. Thank you again for your help.

I just wanted to ask you : my attorney got letter form Nebraska center for additional information for I140 that was sent in July 2006.When I called my attorney and asked what kind of information it is,thay didn't answer me,they just said: don't worry ,we're working on it. I tried few times,but didn't get the answer. It's my right to know ,isn't it? Or may be i'm wrong,and they know what they-re doing and i'm too nosy. Thank you

Hi! I sent my I140 to Nebraska in July,2006 and today I got notice that they want me to send request of additional evidence .I'm tired to wait.

My hospital is sponsoring me. My lawyer sending I140 + I485 together next week. I'm very worried about EAD. I have to work. 1.Is it true that you have to get I140 approval before EAD approval? 2.How long to wait for I140 approval and EAD in NY? 3.Is it better to send I140 and I485 together or separate? Hi,everybody! I'm a female nurse from Israel(about 3 years here in US). Israel likes male nurses:chuckle This is for sure. Even if it's no positions in the hospital,they will take you,believe me,especially if you moving from USA.

I'm an international student,just got BSN and starting my OPT in NY soon. I'm planning to take Nclex in October. My questions are: 1.If I'll send my VSC application after NCLEX, is it possible to the Hospital to send GC application at the same time? Or I need to wait until I'll get VSC,it means after few months? 2.After OPT if i'm not receiving my GC yet ,can I work? Is it legal to be in US until my papers are in process? 3. Can I visit my country while i'm waiting for GC? Thank you :)

Hi Tim! I have the same problem as you are. I'm an international student just got B.S in Nursing. I'm applying for OPT. I hope I'll take NCLEX as soon as I can,it means in october. I don't know exactly if my hospital where i'll do OPT will start GC process now or i have to wait untill OPT is over. I can't find this information anywhere.

Since i did my training in hospitals that far from the City -Lon Island, i don't know hospitals in the City, but i'll figure it out when i'll go to OPT. Should i ask that I 'am interested in Green Card at the time of interview for OPT? Thank you very much.
