Arizona - Abrazo & Kindred
Anyone have any experience or heard anything about Abrazo Arrowhead, Abrazo West Campus, Kindred Phoenix, or Kindred NW Phoenix? Any info/experience would be appreciated!

Texas Endorsement
Ok, thanks. I figured since the website specifically says 10 business days, rather than a timeframe, that there must've been a problem or something.

Texas Endorsement
Anyone have any recent experience? It's been 14 business days since they've received the initial application, and still no info when I check the status. Of course, no one's taking any calls at the BON either...

For some reason when I read 1000 practice hours, my mind kept thinking 10,000 hours. Thanks for all your advice! :)

AANP NP boards Advice
I graduated this spring with an MSN FNP degree. Due to some unforeseen personal reasons, I am planning on doing some travel nursing as an RN for at least a year. Since I'm not planning on practicing as an NP for at least a year, what do you guys recommend as to when I should take my boards? Most people tell me to get it over with, and the highest chance of passing is when I'm still in the zone, but I don't want to have forgotten everything by the time I'm ready to actually practice. Also, when it comes to renew the NP license, don't you need a certain amount of clinical hours to renew? I'm a little confused on my research. Based on my research, I need to renew my AANP certification every 5 years, but don't you also need to renew the NP license every 2 years (along with the RN license)? I can't seem to find any information on the 2 year renewing criteria. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Expungements & RN licensing
What did they say?

A Headache is not an emergency
Exactly. Just finished my FNP program. Most MDs and NPs I followed in clinicals gave out antibiotics like candy. No one wants to hear option #2 after they've been waiting for awhile. Unfortunate.

Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA
What's sad is that I did that 2 weeks ago, and I got a response, but I still don't have my temp or permanent. The supervisor just repeated what the timeline is. I think so many people are doing it now, it's not working anymore =/.

Waiting on fingerprints, do I fly in for live scan??????
How do you get the temp in a week or 2? I did the live scan and paid for a temp, and still don't have the temp 14+ weeks later =/

Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA
Yea.. they received my app on 3/9, and the temp license pending didn't show up on Breeze until 5/10. Still pending... Completely over the 10-12 week timeframe for my temp as of right now. Still no news.

Flexcare or Valley for travel nursing in California?
Anyone have any experience, good or bad, with those agencies in California? This will be my first time traveling, and all the posts that I've searched for are a couple of years old. Any experience and opinions would be appreciated!

Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA
They received my application on March 9, and they are finally processing the 1st 2 weeks of March! I also did the live scan. I am 14 weeks and counting, have not received my temporary yet either (even though it says 10-12 weeks). Will hopefully get my license within the next 2 weeks. Hopefully the end is near!

Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA
For those of you who have received a Cali license: My status is still pending for both my license by endorsement and temp license on Breeze. I do see 2 different RN numbers (I'm assuming). I'm confused on if these are my license numbers, and why it's still pending if they posted the numbers already! Anyone have any experience with this?

Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA
Happyful -- or anyone else that can help, Question about the Breeze account? I sent in my application and live scan on 3/4. I created a Breeze account, but how does my application and my breeze account end up linking up? Do they search my name/information, and it links up that way?

Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA
I hope someone can help me with these questions. The BON doesn't seem to be taking any calls at this time. I couldn't wait any longer for the hard cards to be sent to me, so I got the FD258 cards done from the police station, but a couple of problems I foresee: I'm not sure how particular CA BON will be of these, but for height, they put 503 instead of 5'3" and for eye color, they put BRO instead of BRN. This coding is how the police station does it, so I'm not sure if this will be a problem? I'm also not sure if I'm supposed to fill out the residence and the employer/address. Does anyone know? I appreciate any input/help!

Hard Card Fingerprinting for Cali License
Thanks. It's going to be hard for me to try to make it there, but I might have to try. How was your experience w/ Valley agency?

Does anyone know if you have to wait for the BON fingerprint cards for the hard scan? Can you just get the fingerprints done on an FD258 card at the police station? Also, did you guys send 1 or 2 cards? How much is the postage for the manila envelopes with the application and fingerprint card? Wondering if it's normal postage or if I have to go to USPS to send it. Thanks!

Hard Card Fingerprinting for Cali License
I requested for the fingerprinting card to be sent to me, but who knows when it will get here. If I go to the police office to get my fingerprinting done, will those fingerprinting cards work? Are they the same cards? Thank you!

UAB MSN Switching Tracks
Hey guys, just wanted to know if you guys have heard of anyone successfully switching specialties in the middle of their track at UAB. I've been accepted for Fall '13 for ACNP, but my heart is leading me towards FNP now. I don't want to get in the situation of being stuck in a track that my heart isn't in, but I don't want to give up on UAB either. I would like to start ACNP in the Fall and apply to switch to the FNP track after the first year since the classes are the same for the first year, but would be at a loss if my switch wasn't accepted. I would love to hear if you guys have heard of anyone's experience of switching tracks during the program. Any help would be appreciated!
