Finished my ASN at excelsior in spring 2015 and I'm looking into starting my BSN. Has anyone from Excelsior went through UTA for their BSN? Any trouble with transferring credits? Did you have to take several general courses?

How many proctored exams are there? What are the exams like?

Buy the practice exams through excelsior they are so helpful they're $75 each but totally worth every penny

Ordered mine from eBay you can find them for individual courses or buy all the courses together

I started my nursing exams in September I used study guide 101, the content guide, and the practice exams. Took 3 days off before a test to really focus and tested. I took my last nursing exam in May and now waiting to start my FCCA June 30th. I'm really hoping to have. CPNE date by the end if the year. Good luck

I've heard it's 3 quizzes you have to get 70% or better and a final for each one

It will vary from person to person for me transitions and LS2 were the hardest. Transitions is so dry and memorization and a lot of information I am not interested in.. LS2 was hard because the majority was psych and I'm not a psych nurse and don't care for psych

Did you have to do a conference call?

How did that process work? I'm trying to appeal for shorter time on ls2 in hopes to get in to may fcca.

If you fail an exam, which is the last exam you need for fcca. They say oh can put in a letter of appeal for a reduction in wait time to retake the test. Wondering how long that process takes

Practice exams and just schedule the test date and don't change it

I finished it about 2-3days and was able to register for my next class within the same week

Have to be within 10 credits of completing the prerequisites on top of finishing all nurses exams

What kind of nursing diagnosis book do they allow? I'm hoping to start fcca in March. And going to do both in 8wks. Are the assignments due weekly?

When you're at clinicals and assigned a pt are you able to take any resources with you to help you on care plans or do you have to know the nursing diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions?
