  1. PPE was a solution before e.u.a for the vaccine is all I’m saying,I feel it’s important to be vaccinated being in the healthcare field, but I reserve the right to critique those who’ve been there from the beginning to have to make a decision if it goes against their moral compass.I’m referring to working in the hospital, obviously your not going to walk around gowned, masked and safety goggles. Sorry for the confusion…
  2. We have identifiers that are placed on our badges that let patients know their nurse is vaccinated. And that info is shared through internal communication. But it’s none of my business…It’s awfully presumptive and judgy on this forum reminds me of why I got off this..
  3. No one said the vaccine would offer complete immunity only protection from severe disease. You have a higher likelihood of catching Covid from an unvaccinated person than one vaccinated because antibodies.Do a little more research.
  4. It’s the ultimate set up for failure..don’t let it get you down,go after what makes you happy! You are worth more than what you’re putting up with! I’m with you and in the same boat..
  5. I would hope we continue on the path of supporting each other, solid points when different perspectives are thrown in it becomes blurry. The vaccine does seem to work as stopping severe symptoms (6mos) which I am well past that and it sounds like our anti-bodies have dropped. So we are in a lot of trouble if some haven’t and some only had 1. But yea the Israel thing is unsettling for sure! Are we delaying the inevitable? Maybe more focus on symptoms? I’m rather burnt out and ready to transition but to what?…#hatethiscovid Kudos for sticking it out 40 years!Im so done!Put a fork in me!LOL?
  6. I feel like it’s been created to divide us further, and I agree if you choose to not vaccinate that it not my buisness however, because we are in the field of taking care of vulnerable people we have an obligation to protect them from becoming sicker.Particularly when dealing with children who are unable to vaccinate.
  7. I feel it’s a ground treaded lightly because OSHA stated that companies are liable for bad reactions…
  8. That’s true, the vaccine doesn’t prevent infection,it keeps you from getting sick enough to be placed on a vent. There are break through cases, there is 72 hours of incubation before you have symptoms and are most contagious. And 90 days of shedding virus. You’re at higher risk unvaccinated and catching Covid and getting severe disease, based on pre-exhausting health conditions. That’s what I’ve learned so far..But everyone has their own perspective.
  9. That sounds like something I’d like to do!Was it hard to do. counseling?Do you get certified?Im so burnt out!
  10. It’s dysfunctional workplace get out while you have a your sanity! I loved where I worked but after 2 years no sick call and going non stop I finally made a mistake.I should’ve seen it coming,it wasn’t fatal it was human but against policy…sigh do I quit or wait to get terminated..
