  1. Congrats, thanks for your reply. Will you be starting in fall ? There's barely anyone on this app that has attended the program.
  2. Perhaps their clinicals for Columbus aren't together. That's my concern, the counselor surely sounded unsure about clinical sites and said I could ask providers and facilities myself that I know of if I could do clinicals there. That sounded shifty to me. The price is good for me so im interested everything else in the area is 60,000 or more because they are private schools. I hope you get in. Please update when you get your response from the university. I am currently looking into this program, as the flexibility and tuition is something that works for me. How was the interview ? A concern of mine is how far you may have to travel for clinicals, the admission counselor I'm in touch with makes it sound like that is very uncertain and not exactly clear. I've heard of distant learning programs where students have to drive really far to clinical sites. Please let me know if you get any info on this.

  4. Did you attend the Columbus location ? If so can you please tell me more about your experience there ?
  5. Wow, first off thank you for being so candid more people need to be this trans parents about some of these so called nursing programs. The phone called from North Eastern was almost predatory. The way they were pushing me to enroll had me wondering about the school. Upon further investigation, (I looked up several graduates of the Charlotte ABSN on instagram and reached out to them. Not one of them spoke good of the program, they basically all felt like it was a waste of money and they had to learn skills from YouTube. All said the school was very disorganized and always looking for a way to charge a student more money. That was enough for me to cross North Eastern off my list. Cabbarus opened up an ABSN program that's much cheaper and seems way more organized ! I'm sorry you're having such a bad experience in nursing school. Glad you will be graduating soon and done with them. Thanks for sharing and warning potential students.
  6. Oh yes, I did see they moved the campus to the south End area, building looks great. did you figure out financing?, the program is quite expensive. I also got into Cabarrus College accelerated BSN program but I don't want to do a CNA course just to start school. How many days will you be on campus per week? did they explain that?
  7. NYC has some of the most competitive nursing programs in the country very hard to get in, would you consider going upstate new york to places like Utica College ABSN. It may be worth the move for 12 months to get what you need. StonyBrook Pace Etc.
  8. Hi Alyssa, How is it going with the admission process at this school, I contacted several people whom have graduated from the program and nobody seems to have a good review. How do you feel about the process thus far?
  9. thanks, your replies have been so helpful.
  10. I'm really terrified of the math portion as I have never been strong in math and I ;m trying to practice dosage and calculations prior to the start of school
  11. Thanks for your reply, that is very good to know, do most students reside near center city that attended the ACE program? I'm considering living in South Jersey and just driving into Philly daily. I also wanted to know when did you take pharmacology / dosage calculations? Do you find the instructors to be helpful supportive?
  12. Hello EagleEye22, I was accepted for fall 2023, my question is, how far were clinicals so far. I've seen post were students were saying they were sent to clinical sites that were really far out, have you experienced such?
  13. In my humble opinion nursing is a way better option for you. I'm pretty sure that you will not regret your decion. I was in a dental hygiene program at NYU the program itself was wonderful however the realities of how many dental hygiene students had no job was pretty terrible, also the fact that a lot of dentist are allowing dental assistants to do the job of hygienist this way they don't have to she'll out as much as they would for hiring a hygienist. Go with your gut do nursing and I wish you all of the best :)
  14. Any graduates of this schools lpn program any comments??
