  1. It's intimidating at first, and everyone was nervous Q1 with med math, but once we had the first med math exam everyone begs for med math questions on every exam LOL. Usually we'll have 1-2 med math questions on med surg exams and they help boost your grade.
  2. It shouldn't be a problem. There are quite a few classmates that don't have cars and just end up carpooling for clinical.
  3. I currently live near campus, as do a lot of my classmates. From September to March I drove about an hour each day from South Jersey for class+clinical and that became exhausting in Q2, so I moved near campus and it has been a game-changer for me. It's possible to commute (I used to listen to lectures while driving), but it's definitely more challenging once Q2 starts and you're going to lectures, 3 clinicals, and studying in your off time. Pharm I is in Q2, and you'll start med math calculations Q1 in Fundamentals. The instructors for the most part have been really helpful. Some are amazing, but a couple are not the greatest lecturers. But there are a ton of resources at the school to help with learning material, as well as learning clinical skills in the lab.
  4. Hi there, Congratulations on your acceptance! Most of the clinicals are fairly close to campus. The furthest I have gone is to Reading for my L&D clinical, and that is this quarter. All of my other clinicals were in Philadelphia (CHOP, HUP, Fox Chase, Penn). So it's hit and miss, but Reading is the furthest possibility at about an hour and 15 minute drive.
  5. Hi everyone! I am a current ACE student in Q3 (Fall 2022 cohort) so if anyone has any questions feel free to ask, and good luck to everyone on applying!
  6. Hey everyone, just joining the conversation! I was accepted on 11/10 and am excited to get started with you all
  7. Hey everyone, just discovered this thread. Looking forward to hearing back with hopefully good news!
  8. Hey all, just wanted to contribute to the thread! In the process of applying now to FAU. I didn't get into Miami like I had hoped, and have only been accepted into Utica at this point.
  9. Congrats!! Did you get something in your personal email or from Canelink? I've been checking practically every hour for the past month LOL
  10. I applied a month ago and haven't heard back either. Hopefully soon! Good luck everyone
  11. @Ivorybsn Hey don't worry - It's only our future at stake here! Haha sorry I have to kid to cope with the anxiety
  12. Not yet, though my application status on Canelink changed to "complete" a couple days ago, so I assume decisions are being made shortly. I hope at least ?
  13. @DAMAYA I received the Canelink email a couple days after I applied, but haven't received a decision yet.
  14. Just applied yesterday, fingers crossed!
  15. Great thanks! I just moved to Florida a month ago from Philly. I'm in Fort Lauderdale and am kind of limited to local schools as my wife has a permanent job here. I only applied to Keiser so far and Miami in a few days when I finish the personal statement. Miami is my top choice so far as Keiser seems to have a poor reputation..
