Hello everyone! I originally planned to be a Dental Hygienist and applied for the program and didn't get in. They say there are 34 seats, and I was choice 35 and if someone drops, they will call me. In the mean time I've been thinking of applying for the RN program (associates.) The prerequisites are the same and I'm done with all those. Just I need to pass the TEAS with a 74%. What are your thoughts on being a dental hygienist vs. an RN? I've pretty much decided anyway to start studying for the TEAS and go for the RN. I have a few questions and am open to ANY suggestions you may have regarding: PASSING the TEAS (especially the math part), salary info for new grads in the northern Virginia area, if being a school nurse is a good job, etc. I know there are tons of fields in nursing and I just want to make sure I begin in something that makes me happy which is children. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks SOO much!!! -Elizabeth
