Hi, has anyone applied/been accepted to the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program starting Fall 2014? If so - have you heard anything yet? Anyone know what kind of "stats" GWU looks for re: years of and type of experience, GPA, etc? And better yet, is anyone enrolled in this program? Any/all insider comments welcomed! Seems like a great program...?

I am applying to their program for Fall 2014. Can I ask who you used for your letters of recommendation? What was your GPA like? Do you plan on working through the program?

I just found out I'm #8 on the waitlist for class 117. Ugh...they have until 7/26 to accept, I guess we will see what happens!

I've been a nurse for 3 years. I've done critical care, peds, geriatrics and right now I'm in administration. I've tried to get as much experience in a short amount of time by doing prn and part time work in addition to full time. My undergrad GPA was 3.5.

I got wait listed for class 117. Just found out tonight. Emailed to find out how far back I am. Won't hear now til Monday..

We are still waiting to hear. 6 weeks prior to bridge bound is this Monday..

I applied to class 117 as well. It still does exists and fb is aug 26-29 but its not on the website since it was updated. Trying to patiently wait this week...

You heard about class 116 already?!? I applied to 117 which is one week later than your frontier bound so this makes me anxious! When did you hear?!

Getting closer to July! I received an email yesterday about looking at student services while awaiting acceptance news and I almost had a stroke just waiting for it to open because I had no idea what it was about!

I applied to Bridge Class 117! Impatiently waiting - 53 days until the 8 weeks prior to FB!

I actually just looked at the website and it looks like they extended the application deadline by two weeks so that may be a good thing :)

I haven't put in my request yet because I feel like I will jinx myself!! Yesterday was the last day to submit applications for our class so I feel like its getting closer! Good idea on the app, think I will download one myself.
