  1. Hi Kint, Did you email the signed forms to CNO and your school? Can you please share how to go about this? Did you have to pay extra to CNO and/or school for them to submit required documents?
  2. Hi, I talked with AZ board of nursing, and they said to apply by examination. There is an option to say that I did take NCLEX and passed it. So it worked out. I haven't applied for it yet as I want to talk to CNO as well. I honestly haven't thought that far about job applications. I need to do more research about it. If you have any information, please share. I'd really appreciate it. I will update here when I start the application process. ?
  3. Thank you so much for your reply. I really appreciate your help. I will definitely contact AZ BON again and figure out.
  4. Hi, I am currently in the process of applying for AZ licence. I have completed my NCLEX and work in Ontario as RN. How did you apply for AZ licence? Did you apply via endorsement or examination? I tried applying via endorsement, but there is no option to select Canada. I contacted AZ BON, and they said I will have to apply via examination and ask Ontario BON to submit my NCLEX results to AZ BON. Is that what you did? Also, I saw on AZ BON website, that if I am educated in Canada, I do not need CGFNS report. All I have to do is contact CNO and ask them to send NCLEX proof and licence verification. Is that correct? I might as well submit my CGFNS right now then having to wait for AZ BON to tell me to do it few weeks down the road. Please give me your suggestions and how your process went. Thank you.
  5. Thank you for your reply. I talked with the Arizona BON, and they said I would have to apply via Examination and ask Ontario BON to send my NCLEX results to Arizona BON. I am not planning to move on a TN visa. I am going with my husband under a different type of visa. Arizona BON said that if they want CES or Visa Screen, then they will let me know once the application has been submitted. So let's see. Hopefully, I will be exempt from that step.
  6. If I have passed NCLEX in Canada and have an active licence in Ontario, do I fill out the application by Endorsement or Examination? I am trying to apply for RN licence in Arizona via Endorsement, but there is no option for Canadian provinces to choose from. Only USA states were in the option. Do I apply by examination and ask CNO to send the results to Arizona BON?
  7. Thank you, everyone, for sharing your experience. I have a question about the application process. I have passed NCLEX and have an active license in Ontario. I am in the process of applying to Arizona. My question is, since I have passed NCLEX, do I apply through Examination or Endorsement? I tried to fill out the application via Endorsement, but it did not have the option to choose Canadian provinces. It just had the states from the USA. If I apply through Examination, how does that work? Do I ask CNO to send the NCLEX results to Arizona BON? Please help if you have any suggestions. This process is very confusing. I also found out that Arizona does not require CES or CGFNS reports for Canadian-educated nurses. All I have to do is fill out the application, and ask CNO to send my NCLEX results and license verification.
  8. Can you please share how you went about this? I'm currently thinking of getting Florida Licence. How did you get your fingerprint and licence without SSN? Please help
  9. Hi Monaandrea, How did you find the experience of getting TN visa and obtaining your licence in Florida? I'm looking into moving to Florida and thinking of starting my process within next couple of months. I'm currently working in Canada as a RN. I do have my NCLEX licence in Ontario. Did you need a SSN to apply for the licence? How are the job opportunities there? Any insight will be helpful. Thank you.
  10. Thank you so much for detailed process timeline. It's very helpful for those who are thinking of working in USA in future. I have few questions: Do you mind sharing which state you worked as a RN? Where did you get your nursing education and licence from? How long did the TN visa process take to complete? Thank you!
  11. Does anyone know how to get Electronic Fingerprinting done for Florida BON? I live in Ontario, Canada and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to go to a nearby state or to Florida in order to get this step done.
  12. Thanks so much for your replies. I came to realize yesterday that CNA is just the term used for PSW in states. so my apologies. however, i agree with loriangel14 that i can work as a psw now since i have completed my 1st year. Once again thanks again for your help :)
  13. Hey everyone, I want to get CNA certification here in Ontario, Canada, and would love to get it online. I am currently in a BScN program. I have completed my first year and right now on the summer break until september. So thought why not use this free time to get CNA certification and licence so that I can get myself a job in a nearby hospital. Anyway I have tried searching for it but had no luck. Does anyone know an institute where you got yours online? If so, can you please send me a link or the name would be appreciated too. Oh and is my first year courses will be any help in obtaining CNA? just wondering! Please share anything you would know about this. I will really appreciate it. Thank you everyone!
  14. Thanks for your reply, but it seems like it's for USA and not canada.
  15. Hello everyone, Does anyone know where I can take medical terminology certificate ONLINE? BTW i'm located in Ontario, Canada. If you can give me the website or the name of the company/college, it will be great! Thank You.
