Any news if you passed or failed? I took my NCLEX Nov6,2017 and tried the PVT more times than I could count. 36h later and I'm still getting the good pop up. Luckily NJ participated in quick results. 12h left and I'm hoping they post early 🤞🏻

I'm attending pccc, i start nursing 1 this fall, and still have to take micro. I heard it better to get all of the classes out of the way. So ill most likely take it this summer

I agree with the poster above. I also want to add that as tedious note cards may be they do work. Also if you know the material, I mean have it memorized, don't continue to study it because chances are you won't forget it. Being a mother of 2 little ones I know what you are going through. Try to study while they're taking a nap. Also if you're waking up early and going to sleep late chances are you are tired and your brain can't fully comprehend the information let alone retain it. You need a good amount of rest. I know that might be difficult with a little one but trust me it helps

I know this may sound crazy, but my son's pediatrician told me to eat peanut butter while studying. Its supposed to help with memory. I've done and I must say it does work. Also use flash cards and don't continue to study anything you already know because once you know it you wont forget it.

I taking A/P 2 right now, and as long as I pass this class which I'm fairly confident I will, I will be taking Microbiology during the summer. Then I am done.

You don't need a specific GPA. They work on a points system. the higher the GPA the more points you get. That gets worked into how well you did on your TEAS V exam. A passing grade is 50%. you get a certain amount points for every individual section which is then divided by 3 for an average. Those points are added to the points you received for your GPA. As far as how hard it is to get in, Im not to sure. Im still waiting to hear if I got accepted or not. (just applied this for the fall 2013--fingers crossed) All I know is you should work your butt of to be considered for a position. According to the seminar I had attended, its very demanding and definitely not easy. Its going to require you to give 150% at all times. But hey we're dealing with people's lives so why shouldn't it be. Hope this helped.
