  1. I often get calls from patients that have been forwarded to me about their bill. Usually, it's because they are irate about something. I've never dealt with billing in the hospitals and am wondering if this is standard in a clinic? I personally don't think it is a nursing role, but I need back up to support my belief.
  2. I have worked in ER for 20 years and recently left for a change. I am starting a job in a mobile clinic. I'm a little nervous.
  3. Thank you. I was chastised by my agency for calling the facility to check on my shifts.
  4. No, it's not just you. No one cares about the nurses; they only care about money, as most corporations do.
  5. My agency says it is too busy to call and let the nurse know her shift is cancelled. Is this standard practice?
  6. I work for Favorites and I am frustrated because they will cancel shifts and not even bother to notify you.
  7. I'd say go for it if you're okay being thrown to wolves and you are solid in your skills and knowledge. I know I would not have been ready after a year.
