  1. Exactly my point people talk like this often just usually not so out in public. As to the 3 hours, my boss was in a meeting and I was making rounds with the doctor. Yes I did tell her that was not acceptable, I do not condone anything about that attitude. I have no problem taking the discipline...everything is a learning curve...it was my license I was worried about. But thank you.
  2. I'm sorry I did hear her say it. But it was about 3 hours before I was able to say anything about it.
  3. I apologize ahead if this seems long, I'm just at such a loss. Ok so, Friday I ended up on day shift due to picking up an extra day and had an orientee with me. Well multiple times that day she was heard stating , "If a resident hits me, I'll hit them back because I don't play." (I work on a locked down dementia unit.) I didn't think much of this at first, she didn't sound serious to me. A few hours later I got called into the DONs office. Another nurse reported that she heard the orientee saying this and that I heard it to. When I asked, I stated yes I didn't hear her say it. Then I was called to the administrators office. Where they proceeded to accuse me of lying...and abuse, if I was sure I heard it. I was suspended until Monday, when I'm to show up for a hearing. I would also point out I was informed afterwards that the orientee is good friends with the DON... I'm scared...I been a nurse less than a year and my license means everything to me. I just don't understand what happend. I feel like I'm in trouble for telling the truth. Any advice for this situation?
  4. I'm in Tennessee and I'm having to wait 3-4 days to know my results.
  5. I'm at the very end of my program, i wouldn't say it took a ton of studying but it did take some to be prepared..like reading ahead. We would hit the high points of a chapter in class then test. Anywhere from 5-7 chapter/tests a day. Over half my class failed the final exam and couldn't go to clinicals.
  6. Had my second interview today. Instead of having to wait all week to know she went ahead and told me i had a spot in class :)
  7. Congrats! Great job :)
  8. Will definitely do that thanks. One more quick question about the compass, are we allowed to use calculators ?
  9. Thank you so much for the answers. Really appreciated :)
