Thanks for the info. I find it a bit rude to not send a "thank you for applying... better luck next time" email. Applicants put a lot of time and money into this applications and it seems like the least OHSU can do.

If you don't get an interview invite, do they send a rejection email? It seems like they should rather than having people guess. Maybe someone from the Portland ABSN knows?

OHSU just emailed saying (regarding Ashland ABSN): "The review committee are still reviewing applications. Invites should be sent out in the next week or two to select applicants via email."

Do we think soon like today or this week soon?? This has been a long wait.

Hi all, I have been a nurse for 5 years. Went to OHSU. I have a friend who's wanting to apply to the UW ABSN program. Does everyone have previous medical experience who got accepted?? Any info into the application would be greatly appreciated.

Did you find a place to do your service obligation?? You can also work for tribal facilities. I also go the IHS scholarship so I totally understand your stress of not knowing where you'll end up.

Hi there, I too am fullfilling a scholarship service obligation. I think that the 36 hours works for full time. I know they accepted my placement and that in one year HR I believe just needs to sign off saying that I actually worked full time for the past year... But, of course, with IHS there's always many unknowns...

I too am going a little nuts not knowing. I've never lived in Portland or any city that big and want to make plans for moving if I get in. Hoping we know soon!!

I too applied to the ABSN program and am so looking forward to hearing the decisions! Have others received emails at all from OHSU. I see that some received emails saying they didn't make it to the next round. I haven't got one email from them through this process and wanted to make sure that was normal..
