  1. Nevermind-- just got the confirmation!
  2. I sent them in yesterday; still no confirmation other than the "hang tight" email. I'm also toying with the idea of sending a followup if I don't hear back by ~ 1hr before the deadline.
  3. I got the e-mail for an interview (ABSN) today-- trying not to get my hopes up, but very excited!
  4. Was just going to post that! It's surprising to me because from what I've gathered from previous applicants, the interview questions don't stray too far from the essay prompts. I, for one, love writing essays because it forces me to reflect on my experiences in a way I might not have otherwise (for what it's worth, I'm not too burned out on them either because I only applied to OHSU). But I don't see the point of this if it's going to just be a rehash of the existing essay questions.
  5. I applied for the Portland just-ABSN program-- haven't heard anything yet!
  6. I doubt it! It's actually a really nice gesture that they let you go back and add things-- to me it suggests that you're still in the running and they actually want to fully consider every applicant. I've applied for grants where they looked for things to nitpick; if document margins were .95" instead of 1", for example, the application might be rejected. You wouldn't have a chance to correct it and you wouldn't find out till months later.
  7. Hey all-- joining in to say I'm already on the anxious-email-refresh train even though I'm not expecting to hear anything till Feb. I applied for Fall start ABSN and checked the box saying consider me for any term. I'm a career transition (PhD scientist right now) which makes me a little nervous-- I wasn't able to volunteer or shadow due to COVID so have pretty much zero patient experience. FWIW, my application was verified quite quickly (I want to say 1-2 days), but I did the transcript request really early, and took my sweet time with entry and essay writing. Best of luck to all!
