You guys might want to check your spam inbox because that was where I found my invitation for the interview. Congrats to all of you who got in! I was admitted to the San Diego campus for spring 2014! Anyone else here admitted to the SD campus?

I had my interview July 2 and was told I would not hear back until September! Has anyone else heard back anything different? Good luck to all of you! I hope we get in :)

@Melly6212 My ultimate goal is to become an NP, so I guess we're in the same boat! :)

As for the San Diego campus, I am pretty sure we will be hearing back end of August...I hope. I emailed the Program Coordinator at the SD campus and was told that over 30 students were interviewed for that location. I also asked about the other campuses, but she only had data for SD, sorry Azusa and IE applicants! 20 students are admitted into each campus and I am guessing roughly the same students were interviewed at the other campuses? I hope we all get in though....good luck! We have a few more weeks of waiting it out!

Hi dave5673! My undergrad GPA is 3.24, science prereq: 3.78, and non-science prereq: 3.6, so I would say I am on the average end. I do have a good amount of direct patient care and health care experience though. I also applied to Samuel Merritt and several schools on the east coast. I have been already accepted to Pace Univ which is in NY, but my first choice is APU so I am "patiently" waiting to hear back from them first.

My interview was at the SD campus and it went well. I had the same writing prompt and was given 25min to complete it and then the interview began thereafter. She went over questions I had regarding the program, my prereqs, talked about my personal statement, and asked me a few questions. It was a very lax environment. I am not sure if they are still conducting interviews, but we are suppose to hear back by August I believe. Has anyone else heard back at all or got a different response on when we would be hearing back? I am hoping to hear back sooner...the waiting is just killing me!

Hello all! I have an interview/academic advising session this Thursday at the San Diego campus. Has anyone interviewed at this or any other location? From what I have been reading and from previous years, it is a pretty laid back interview. For those who have already interviewed, any tips, advice, or suggestions before going into the interview?

Hey Yourstruly_dm! Yes, I believe we were in the same interview! I got accepted into the one year program, but I am very hesitant to accept their offer at this moment. I am still waiting to hear from other schools. I already left a deposit since this is the only school I got into so far, but I am hoping to hear from others considering the bad reviews from past and current students.

@melly6212 how did they contact you to set up the interview and which campus did you apply to? I just send in all of my application material today so hopefully they will be receiving it in the next few days! Good luck to all of you. Please update when you hear anything back! :)

Hey guys! Those of you who are still waiting, I got called for an interview for the program today at 2:50pm pacific time. Did anyone else get called in for an interview? I live in California and requested if they could possible do a skype interview, but the lady who called said she will confirm with me tomorrow morning. At this moment, I am very uncertain about this program so I am unsure if I should even bother flying out if a skype interview is not acceptable.

I didnt receive a letter in the mail today so I gave curry a call and they said that I should have received it by now. The lady said she'll email me a copy and unfortunately I am also wait listed!!! This just brings me down. Any tips of what to do and how to deal???Congrats again to those who have made it in and to those who are still waiting...best of luck!

Congrats Pavolga on getting accepted!!! And I am so sorry for those who did not make it in or is currently waitlisted. I can empathize with you that it is such a big heartbreak to not make it in or just plain waiting. I have already been rejected from several schools, but if this is what we all truly want to do...well eventually get there! So keep trying! =) I have yet to receive a letter from curry. Nothing today so I am hoping for something tomorrow!

Congrats esawitz!!! When did you receive the email? Did your application status change online? Mine still says "In Review." if you dont mind, would you please share some of your background...i.e. GPA, healthcare experience, etc.?

I actually called in and spoke with xxxx today. She said that the ELM program beginning in the fall is a 3 year program: 16 months for your RN and 18 months there after for your masters. I turned in all of my application, transcripts, etc in person and she told me that if anything was missing, she will contact me directly. So I am guessing if you have not heard anything yet regarding the status of your application, then that should be a good thing. I believe decisions will be made early-mid May! Good luck all!

I actually called in yesterday to the graduate admissions office. You all know how the final deadline was April 15th? The lady said that they did not start reviewing the applications until that day which does not make any sense because there were interviews before that date! I spoke with a different individual regarding interviews and that person said that the interviews were held to clarify some questions regarding the applicant's applications. She said that letters have been going out since the final deadline and will continue to go out. My application is still in review. Is anyone else's application status say that as well??? Has anyone at all heard back yet???

Eeek! Two more weeks! So close yet so far away! These next two weeks will feel like forever. Is everyone on here from the Boston area? I'm from southern California and would like to know how the area is?

You know what's funny?! They said they sent out letters for a few weeks now, so who knows when we'll receive any news! lol hopefully soon!

Hello all! Thank you Pavolga for starting a new thread for the ABSN JAN 2014 start! I have also applied and shuffled back and forth through the previous threads from years before. This month has been so nerve wrecking already! Even though I know decision letters will not be going out until the beginning of May, I check my mail everyday as if they have already sent it out! This is madness! Ahahaha. But it is good to know that they are pretty consistent with letting us all know whether we're accepted or rejected! Anyways, good luck to all of you!

I confirmed with the graduate admissions office that interviews are not mandated for admission to the program. He said that letters are starting to go out and we should hear by mid-April. Good luck everyone!
