I have a question about the nutrition class that's required. I'm in Cali and out here the nutrition class is part of the core curriculum for nursing and you can't take it unless you are in the cohort. We maybe relocating to pensacola and that would be the only class i would need to apply. Did anyone take the nutrition class online? If so where? Thanks for your help!

What about iPad vs iPad mini? I've heard the mini is just too small for note taking, pulling up textbooks ect. Any opinions?

APU online offers the chem class I believe.

If you wanted to start a Facebook page for the SD APU cohort you could email Renee the link and she would send it out to the rest of the people in the cohort. She sent me the link to the original group I was accepted to.

I asked about job placement in my interview because San Diego is so impacted for new grads. She told me they have only had 1 instance where someone had an issue finding a job. The program is pretty prestigious. So no they don't help with job placement. I would think if you do enough networking during clinicals it would help you get a foot in the door somewhere.

Yes, I have finished all my prerequisites. Me too!!! From what I heard there's usually at least one that decides to go to another program, or something comes up. My fingers are crossed!

K23871, Have you looked to see if anyone has stated a facebook page for the cohort yet? They are a great resource and a way to get to know other people in the cohort before it starts! I'm pretty sure spring '14 will be cohort 37. That way you can see if someone else is looking for a room mate. I already live here in the San Diego area too so if you need some help I'll do what I can.

Yes, I actually got accepted to summer, but due to a certain circumstance I can't start. I got put on the alternate list for spring though.
