I think the 18th might have been the last day of interviews unless anyone else knows otherwise. K said that other professors in the department need to read over the writing samples and rate them. I'm not sure how long that would take and who else is ...

I think you just lose your deposit in that case. Yes I bet they are just waiting to see how many people accept vs. decline the first round.

Looking at past years' forums, some people are asked to be on a wait list (not called a waitlist though for some reason) and get offered a spot when people decline, which is usually quite a lot of people. Other people just get a straight rejection.

Congrats! Did you apply for summer only or both summer and fall? Anyone else hear?

Pray for me to get in to CSULA, and I will give you my spot at SMU!! (I have personal reasons relating to proximity to family why I really want to move to LA right now)
