hi I'm in the class as well, week 3 and I'm doing the sub/obj. Any idea about the diet thing? not sure about how to score on the discussion, just when I think I have it "boom", shattered. I just can't grasp what I'm missing. Not much help with the discussion board, it isn't that friendly or helpful. Just keeps referring us back to the syllabus or instructions. Thanks, just venting. Frustrated.

I agree, courses are very difficult to navigate and I wish they would just give you a weekly statement of what needs to be turned in at the beginning, on week one. Lectures online are dated, some 10 years. It is hard to follow when the instructor is talking about something and the then says in an announcement to disregard this or that. Lecture does not match up to text due to one being only a year or two old to ten year old and 5 year old lectures. Gets confusing. It has too much political information that is not necessary and although I agree about APA, give it a break already. Good gracious it's even required in the discussion board. How about content for once. I wish I could say I was enjoying taking these classes, but I don't feel rewarded with the content. 8 more classes to go.

Wow! those nurses were really mean to you. Really there are a lot more nice and compassionate nurses then mean ones, sorry you had a bad experience. I too have ones that act inappropriately at times, but I work with them, they are not my friends. I wouldn't give up my job for them either. Men are entering nursing at a increased rate in the more recent years and give it time there will be a better balance between the two. Move to another facility and explore a better experience in nursing. Also, as an Army Mom of a son in the 82nd AB, thank you for your service.

I too had no previous experience when I went to nursing school. You'll do just great. Just know that the more you do something the better you get. I had a great instructor on my 2nd to 4th semester, but my 1st semester instructor was a little off, but approachable. Let the instructor know before you find yourself really lost that you need to have the basics explained to you. Good luck!

Hi I'm also taking Holistic Health Assessment of the Adult, seems like there are mixed reviews on the demand of time. I'm taking it alone, guess I'm the only one not in a hurry at this point. Will double up later I guess. Glad everyone is doing so well, good work. I hope to see you here when we get started.
