  1. I have Ackley nursing diagnosis book it's very helpful!
  2. Ogden doesn't do most of their problems in DA so it gets confusing unless you already know how to do it then you can do the problems and check your answers...the nurse the math the meds is all in DA. My school has Ogden but my teacher recommended the other book so I bought it used and it's way more helpful than Ogden ?
  3. Have you learned dimensional analysis for the dosage problems? That's what I'm learning and it makes it so much easier!
  4. I'm in nursing school now and I've never been a CNA. There are fellow classmates that are and it makes it difficult for them to learn nursing. Most of my teachers say it's better not to be a CNA if you want to be a nurse at least for the testing part because you think like a CNA and it's harder to learn to think like a nurse. I thought going into school I would have a disadvantage and I've learned that I actually have an advantage when it comes to tests and in skills they teach you all of it anyway. Hope that helps.
  5. Flash cards!! Most of a&p is memorization, once you memorize the main things then you can go further into understanding how it all works together as a system. I just finished a&p 2 a month ago, I got an A in both of them. Also study groups with flash cards, getting another persons question on the same material is very helpful.
  6. I go to a different school in Arizona and there are alot of people in my class coming from ITT they wasted their money and have to start completely over due to the program not being accredited. Go to another school or u won't get anything but a whole lot of debt!!
  7. Thanks I will try wearing them around the house more, I think I'm just being impatient lol. I've tried them at work a few times I think I just need to get used to them I've never had any before
  8. I'm going into 3rd semester next month and all I hear is people talking about how they can't find jobs! When I look online it seems like there are alot of places hiring. I am going for my associates but plan on going for my BSN online right away. Everyone keeps saying I don't have a chance of getting into a hospital as a new grad is this true?
