  1. No Danielle318 is actually a classmate of mine so I felt the need to defend her. Don't be amazed at the rudeness it happens everyday. Everyone is so quick to judge especially about her being out of school 3 years. If it would've took her 8 years I would've been proud considering that she lost a child 2 months after graduation. She didn't come on here asking for sympathy & neither am I but gosh have some tact & a heart
  2. Thanks so much for your concern but I'm more than positive I'll be fine :-) I had two job offers here & one in Arlington & all 3 knew my graduate date
  3. Where are you from because here in Louisiana (where I'm located) I've never heard of that
  4. Thanks everyone & Dranger no I don't have $1800 for a refresh. I start my job Monday. I've been working in the hospital for 5 years where my mom is the DON so I'm sure i'll be fine
  5. .By all means stand by your comments because I'm doing the same. It was "referenced" yet you had to come make negative comment on a 3 monthold topic which I've yet to understand. Why not leave your comment in the forum it was referenced in? You went out of your way to make sure the OP say your negative comment. The OP hasn't been active since July.
  6. That's your right, just like everyone has a right to their opinion. It's a difference between advice, criticism & just plain out rudeness. Everyone keeps asking "would you want a nurse or doctor that has failed 14x, yet no-one has not once answered how they'd know how many times someone has tested because in all actuality no-one ever ask. I mean the OP did graduate from nursing school. My point was why pull up a 3 month old topic to simply be negative.
  7. I promise I undestand where you're coming from but it's no way you can look at a nurse or doctor & know how many times they've taken boards & I've never known any of them to volunteer that information. Honestly I've never known anyone to ask a nurse or Dr. that. I'm just a more of a "never give up on your dreams type person" Some of the comments were just plain rude.
  8. Did you read anywhere where I typed "failing 14 times is reasonable" My comment was to address the negativity & the fact that someone searched & pulled up a 3 month old post to ONLY be negative. For all we know the OP could've passed by now.
  9. Check your inbox I left my email. Maybe we can study together
  10. Thanks & CONGRATULATIONS again
  11. So would you recommend in only doing only the comprehensive exams?
  12. Congrats! Any tips to share? Also do you think the Lipincott book was a big help?
  13. Congatulations & thanks so much for the tips
  14. Oh wow so they send your ATT in 3 minutes yet they don't offer quick results
  15. What state are you in that you receive your ATT in 3 minutes aafter registering? I'm in Louisiana & it takes about 3 days
  16. Omg you have to pay for the whole package again? That's not fair. Ask her if you could just pay the difference & get the private tutoring. Wish you were closer
  17. What did you use to study?
  18. Kimmy you wouldn't happen to be located in Louisiana? I know this guy who teaches a strategy class here which I've taken & will attend a few more sessions before I actually test. Everyone who I've known to take him has passed. He teaches strategies. He has no nursing background but he's strategies have worked for many people I know & I'm praying they work for me.
  19. Did you use the total remar review or just the quick facts
  20. I had the same pop-up & failed. I pray this is not the case for you
  21. I think we were taught the same one then lol
  22. Thanks so much. Have you taken the jurisprudence exam?
  23. Can you tell me how long it took to get Background check & AOG processed
  24. Great attitude :-) Take you a break & try again. You've made it through nursing school so you'll definitely pass NCLEX. What did you use to prepare? Also inbox me when you get a chance
